Lincai town

Lincai town is an ancient market town under the jurisdiction of Huaiyang District, Zhoukou City, Henan Province. It was once a county town in Sui and Tang Dynasties. It is located 10 kilometers northeast of Huaiyang District, Henan Province. It borders Huangji, Sitong, Bailou, Gedian and anling in the East, South and West, and fucaolou town in Taikang County in the north. Lincai town is 12.3 kilometers long from north to South and 8.2 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 75.26 square kilometers and a cultivated area of 65000 mu. Agriculture plays a leading role in economy, with cash crop planting and livestock breeding as the main industry, and agricultural products processing industry as the main industry. The infrastructure in the town is relatively perfect, the transportation is convenient, and the school, hospital, culture and other facilities are complete.

Historical evolution

According to the general annals of Henan Province, "Emperor Guangwu of Han Dynasty and Wang Mang refused to build a city near the Caihe River (now the old Heihe River is Caishui), so it was named lincaicheng.".

Lincai is the hometown of Han Jiwen, chief of staff of the Huaiyang Anti Japanese guerrillas. In the Anti Japanese War and the war of liberation, Lincai has a glorious tradition of revolutionary struggle. A group of revolutionary martyrs sowed the revolutionary train fire here and wrote a magnificent history.

In September 1988, with the approval of the Provincial Department of civil affairs, Lincai withdrew his hometown to build a town. In June 1999, with the approval of the Zhoukou Civil Affairs Bureau, the Party History Research Office of the prefectural Party committee, and the regional old area construction promotion association, Lincai was an old revolutionary area.

In line with the guiding ideology of reducing the area of grain crops, increasing the area of cash crops, and vigorously developing high-efficiency and characteristic agriculture, Lincai town government has actively developed 10000 mu of fruits and vegetables, 3000 mu of yams, ginger, asparagus, 2000 mu of miscellaneous fruits, and 300 sunlight greenhouses in addition to the leading industries of grain, cotton, and oil. A yam production base based on ChangLou administrative village has been established. In this village, 500 mu of yams are planted all year round, and the products are sold to six surrounding counties and cities. The income per mu is about 6000 yuan, and the per capita income is increased by more than 1000 yuan.

In terms of breeding industry, the large-scale breeding industry with pig, sheep and chicken as the main products has been growing. There are four professional breeding villages and more than 500 professional breeding households in the town. Li Jian, a Lincai villager, founded a pig breeding farm with 320 famous and high-quality sows, an annual output of 6500 piglets, an output value of 3 million yuan and a profit of 750000 yuan. The piglets are sold to five surrounding counties and cities, and more than 30 pig farms are supported. Recently, there has been an upsurge of duck raising in liulaojia village. The number of thousands of specialized households in the village has grown to more than 30.

Since 1990, the town Party committee and government have been conscientiously implementing the "Regulations on the administration of planning and construction of villages and market towns", and worked with the county and municipal planning and design departments to compile the "Lincai town construction plan" for 1990-2000 and 2000-2015, respectively. All previous Party committees and governments have insisted on drawing a blueprint to the end, so that the town planning and development and construction can be better implemented. The town has demolished 80000 square meters of old houses and built 200000 square meters of new two-story standard facade houses. The North-South street and the east-west street have been widened and reconstructed successfully. Six new professional markets have been built and more than 800 individual businesses have been added. Scale boundary: to the north of Heihe River, to the north of Caozhuang in the south, to the west of dongchanglouzhuang in the West and to the east of Zhoushang highway in the East.

At the periphery of the extended boundary, a buffer zone of 50 hectares of basic farmland is demarcated to reserve space for the development of construction land in Lincai town. The development direction is to expand to the northwest along Zhuxie highway.
