Wenyu Township

Wenyu township is located in the northeast of Lushi County, Sanmenxia City, Henan Province. It is located in the junction of urban and rural areas. National Highway 209 and provincial highway 322 pass through it. The transportation is convenient. It is named after Confucius who gave lectures here to build a Confucian temple. There are Cherry Valley scenic spot in hongshigu and lu'ao alchemy site. Wenyu Township, with a total area of 235.79 square kilometers (2017), has 26 administrative villages and a population of 30205 (2017).

Historical evolution

Wenyu commune was established in 1958 and changed to township in 1984. In 2017, it covers an area of 237 square kilometers and has a population of 29000. It has jurisdiction over xiangziping, Tonghe, zhangqiangou, huiduishi, xushaban, Mogou, meigoukou, Dashihe, Gangou, dasanggou, moshang, changjiazhuang, lishuimiao, yaojiashan, songshuzui, Siao, Miaogou, Wenyu, Wujiagou, wangjiacun, majiawan, Zhangcun, Wangcun, Jianxi, heisu, Nanyao, Wangjia, nanshaiqiao Yaozigou, spinach ditch, yangjiachang, hu'ao 32 administrative villages. In 2018, the county's administrative villages were merged and adjusted, with 26 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of the township.

Location context

Wenyu township is located on the South Bank of Luohe River in the east of Lushi County. It is adjacent to Fanli town in the northeast, Hengjian town in the southwest, Sanchuan town and Jiaohe town in Luanchuan County in the southeast, and Dongming town across the river in the northwest, with a total area of 235.79 square kilometers.

It is high in the South and low in the north, mountainous in the south, flat in the north and hilly in the East and West. The township is 26 kilometers long from east to west and 22 kilometers wide from north to south, including 15134 hectares of woodland and 2170 hectares of arable land.

Wenyu township is a warm temperate continental monsoon climate, with an annual average temperature of 12.2 ℃, frost free period of 175 days, annual precipitation of 600 ~ 700 mm, and disastrous weather of frost, autumn waterlogging and rainstorm.

River system

Dashi River, which originates from Jiaohe Town, flows northwest to the narrow mouth. One section of the gorge is called "ShuiHe", and the other section of the gorge flows into Luohe River through Wenyu street. The average flow is 0.6 m3 / s, and the water volume is relatively stable. Dashi River in the South of ShuiHe river is a deep mountain area with cold climate, high forest coverage, little arable land, no wheat harvest, and people's life is difficult. Wenyu River and Luohe River in the north of ShuiHe river Nanyao to Zhangcun on the south bank has fertile land, good water conservancy conditions and warm climate. It is a grain producing area with two crops a year.

Traffic construction

National Highway 209 and provincial highway 322 run through Wenyu Township, which is an important channel connecting Lushi and Luanchuan. Rural roads have developed rapidly. In recent five years, more than 30 rural roads have been completed, which greatly meet the travel needs of the whole township.

Market town construction

According to the stele of rebuilding the ancestral temple in Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty, there were more than 40 businesses donating money to build the temple, such as Yinlou, Buzhuang, Yanhang, mianliang, Jingguang department store, drugstore, grocery store, wine shop, restaurant, mule horse shop, dye shop, etc. The front room is from the Confucian temple on the street. It can be called the heyday of Commerce. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Wenyu village was a large market town with civilization far and near. It was connected from north to South and extended in all directions. Mule and horse teams were carrying medicine, oil and grain and other goods from Luanchuan to the county and Lingbao. Wenyu was its place of accommodation. According to incomplete statistics, there are 14 department stores, 3 grain and oil stores, 3 Mechanical repair stores, 5 barber shops, 1 mobile phone shop and 3 meat shops. In 1959, the county decided to build the Luohe bridge in Nansi. In response to the call of the higher authorities, Nanyao village dispatched labor to participate in the construction of the bridge. The masses also took the initiative to vacate houses for the bridge headquarters and migrant workers to live, work and accommodation. At that time, the vacated houses accounted for more than half of the village's houses, making contributions to the construction of the bridge. In July 1960, the bridge was officially opened to traffic and completed in 1961. Nansi River Bridge was built in 1961, which laid the foundation for the development of Nansi market. In 1961, song Quande, director of Wenyu supply and Marketing Co., Ltd., bought the temporary construction shed when the bridge was repaired and established a comprehensive store. He also successively built a department store store and a purchasing store. The original comprehensive store was changed into a production store and took the lead in laying a commercial foundation at the end of the bridge. At that time, Lei xingrang, Li Xin, Li Tianzhao and other credit cooperatives of Shiqiao commune bought a temporary shed and set up a rural credit cooperative. In 1962, Nanyao group (including Nanwang Village) health center, five groups of blacksmiths' stoves, machinery class of highway station, sugar, tobacco and wine shop of supply and marketing cooperative, sideline shop of Nanyao village, tax collection point of tax bureau and repair shop of Wenyu machinery factory were successively built and opened. The credit cooperative was expanded from one to two, and Qiaotou small market town was basically formed. In 1996, the township civil affairs office and water conservancy station successively built office and residential buildings; the land office, finance office, grain management office, highway section and other units built commercial, office and residential buildings in the four groups of Nanyao; the supply and marketing cooperatives, credit cooperatives, industrial and sideline of NANYAO Village, health center and other units successively transformed the old buildings, built office and residential buildings, and Qiaotou small market town continued to develop. From 2000 to 2003, Wenyu township government and all the organs directly under the township government moved from Wenyu to Qiaotou successively. Wenyu Central Primary School, Wenyu middle school and Nanyao branch of kindergarten directly under the county government were built one after another, adding vitality to Qiaotou small market town. In 2005, resettlement was carried out to build the resettlement community; in 2012, the county industrial cluster was built and 209 national road was moved to the South; in 2014, the 20 mu vegetable seasoning wholesale market in Nancheng district was built and put into use. Qiaotou small market town has begun to take shape and become prosperous. In 2018, Qiaotou small market town covers an area of more than 300 commercial stores and stalls, including one large vegetable wholesale market, more than 100 merchants, more than 20 catering services, more than 10 hairdressing and hairdressing, more than 10 medical and health care, more than 10 processing and repair, and more than 10 primary, junior middle and rural businesses Banks, cement plants, gas stations and other industries, complete categories, daily turnover of more than 1.5 million yuan. Wujiagou Village is located 8 kilometers southeast of the county, covering a total area of 4 square kilometers, with more than 1500 mu of cultivated land and 1.92 mu of cultivated land per capita. The village has jurisdiction over 11 residential groups, 225 households and 788 people.

Wenyu Village

Wenyu village is located 10 kilometers southeast of Lushi County, passing by 322 luluan provincial road. It is connected with Miaogou village in the East, Wangjia village in the west, Wujiagou Village in the South and Lishui temple in the north. There are 19 residential groups, 633 households and 2477 people in the village, with cultivated land area of 1100 Mu and forest land area of 1800 mu, covering a total area of 3 square kilometers. Miaogouhe Village

Miaogou village is located next to provincial highway s322, 10km away from Wenyu township government and 12km away from the county seat. It is connected with moshang village in the East, Wujiagou Village in the west, bocaigou village in the South and Wenyu village in the north. The village covers an area of 5 square kilometers, with 6278 mu of woodland and 709 mu of arable land; the village has four residential groups, 165 households and 545 people. Moshang Village

Moshang village is located 10 kilometers southeast of Wenyu township government. It is adjacent to Shuiyu River in the East, Miaogou in the west, gambling ditch in the south, changjiazhuang and lishuimiao in the north. Mogou village is located in the southeast of Wenyu Township, Lushi County, 18 kilometers away from Dashihe management area of Wenyu Township, 38 kilometers away from the location of Wenyu township.
