Historical evolution
The origin of the name
Shundian town was called Huilong town in ancient times because its inland potential was high in the East and low in the West. When it rained, the water flowed to the West and turned south. Looking back to the East, the surging flood was like a giant dragon. Looking back, the dragon was an auspicious thing, so it was named Shundian. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, the old road of Yu (Zhou) and Luo (Yang) passed through the street. Because of the smooth road and numerous shops, it was finally named Shundian.
Evolution of organizational system
According to the records of Yuzhou in the Qing Dynasty, Shaokang built the capital of Kangcheng in the Xia Dynasty.
It was the fiefdom of Uncle Kang in the Western Zhou Dynasty.
The southern and Northern Dynasties belonged to Kangcheng county;
From Shundi to Zhengyuan (1341), Junzhou was changed to lead Yangzhai, Xinzheng and Mi counties. Shundian town is sunyangli, Shenlin capital of Junzhou;
In the early years of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, Yangzhai county system was abolished and incorporated into Junzhou prefecture (Yangzhai county name, which has been used for more than 1700 years, ended at this point), still governing Mi County and Xinzheng County. In 1570, the fourth year of emperor muzong's reign in the Ming Dynasty, Xinzheng was ruled out from Junzhou, and Junzhou was only led by Mi County.
In 1575, Junzhou was changed to Yuzhou to avoid the name of Zhu Yijun. Shundian town belongs to Shunli town of Yuzhou;
At the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty, the road from Yuzhou to Luoyang passed through the street. Because the road was smooth and there were many shops, it was named Shundian.
In the early Qing Dynasty, following the Ming system, Yuzhou was still set up, which was under the jurisdiction of Kaifeng Prefecture and led by Mi County. In 1724, Yuzhou was promoted to Zhili Prefecture, leading Xinzheng and Mi County. In 1741, it was returned to Kaifeng. Shundian town belongs to zhenfengli, xizhangli and junyangli;
On March 1, 1913, the first year of the Republic of China, Yuzhou was changed into Yuxian County, which was subordinate to the East Road of Henan Province. Shundian town belongs to Shundian town and Kangcheng town;
In 1948, Yu county was liberated and Shundian town was divided into four districts (Huashi) and five districts (Luoji);
In February 1952, it set up 12 districts; in 1958, it set up the "May 4th" people's commune; in 1961, it set up Shundian district; in 1968, it was renamed Shundian commune; in 1984, it was changed into a township; on March 3, 1987, it was changed into Shundian town.
