Miaozhai town

Miaozhai Town, subordinate to Changyuan City, Xinxiang City, Henan Province, is located in the northeast of Changyuan city. It faces Shawo Township, Dongming County, Shandong Province across the Yellow River in the East, Lugang Township in the south, Fangli Town, menggang town and Zhaodi town in the west, and Wuqiu Township in the North. During the Anti Japanese War, it belonged to four districts of Binhe County, and after liberation, it belonged to four districts of Changyuan. In 1963, the Miao village commune was formed in the east part of the dike of pianfangli commune, and in 1983, it was changed into a township. In September 2010, the township was withdrawn to build Miaozhai town. As of October 2019, Miaozhai town has jurisdiction over 37 administrative villages.
