Yigou town

Yigou town belongs to Tangyin County of Anyang City. It is located in the south of Tangyin county and at the junction of Hebi City of Anyang City. It is 3km away from the New District of Hebi City, with a total area of 127.63km2. It governs 56 administrative villages (58 natural villages), with a population of 59029 (2017) and 107000 mu of cultivated land.

Yigou town is the largest town in Tangyin county. It is adjacent to Fudao town in the East, Hanzhuang town in the north, Qibin District of Hebi City in the West and south. It has convenient transportation. Beijing Guangzhou railway, Beijing Hong Kong Macao Expressway and national highway 107 run through the whole town. Zhonghua Road connects Tangyin and Anyang in the north, Hebi and Qi County in the south, which is known as "the first town in Yenan".

Historical evolution

In 1733, Yigou town of Junxian county was assigned to Tangyin county.

In 1901, Emperor Guangxu and Empress Dowager Cixi went to Yigou to sleep in the palace.

Yigou commune was established in 1958.

In 1984, Yigou was changed to township.

Yigou town was built in 1989.

Natural geology

The whole town is high in the West and low in the East. Yongtong River crosses the whole town from west to East. To the east of the Beijing Guangzhou line is a vast plain with abundant underground water. To the west of the Beijing Guangzhou line is a low and gentle hilly terrain, accounting for about 60% of the town's area.

Pipasi reservoir, a medium-sized reservoir with a total capacity of 20 million cubic meters, is built in Xigang District. It is a comprehensive water conservancy project with agricultural irrigation, aquaculture, leisure and entertainment. The downstream is Yongtong River, which flows eastward into Weihe River.

The main mineral resources are marl (white dry soil) in western hilly area, which can be used as cement raw materials.

The territory has rich historical and cultural heritage. Jiangcheng site belongs to Longshan culture, with Shang and Zhou pottery. In addition, according to historical records, the city was the place where Wei xinlingjun "stole Fu to save Zhao" in the Warring States period. Yishigou originates from Heishan in the southwest of the county. According to Tangyin county annals written by Qianlong of Qing Dynasty, it is called Changsha ditch water. Because of the cold water, it was called "cold spring". "The book of pictures" says: "Emperor Wen of the Wei Dynasty was lucky that Luo Dao was ill. The wizard drank it with water from the ditch and made it healed. Water is written by teachers, and the earth is named after water. It is said that Shouyang mountain was Boyi in Shang Dynasty. Shuqi lived in seclusion.

Historical celebrities

Wang Jin of chetun village, Yigou Town, was elected to the military examination during the Qianlong reign of Qing Dynasty. Later, he served as the general of Pinghe battalion of Zhangzhou Prefecture, Fujian Province.

Wang Jinzhang was born in the martial arts examination. His house was built with five spines and six beasts. All the wood used for building the house was cypress wood bought from dongjianshan. There were horse platforms on both sides of the gate. He used a large foreign sword weighing more than 100 kg. The rhinoceros horn bow can't be pulled apart without 300 kg of strength. The bluestone used for practicing martial arts is 360 kg (also called hate stone, with eyes on it). In the south of the village, there is a piece of land called Paoma Geng, which is his training ground. According to the old man, Wang Jinzhang had a star when he was young. His father, the fifth Lord of Wang chain, wanted to buy several acres of land. He had to write a contract and treat him. He told Wang Jinzhang to go to Yigou to buy meat. He bought it and ate it raw on his way home. When he got home, his father asked, "what about the meat?" he said that when he ate it, his father was very angry and wanted to beat him with a bar. He hid in the mill of nandayuan and fell asleep on the grinding plate, When his father found him and hit him again, a black tiger stopped him. His father had no choice but to say: no matter whether you are a dragon or a tiger, no matter what you do. When I was young, I had great martial arts and strength. Once, on his way home, he was thirsty when passing by Daqingshan. He went to a well to ask for water. The water bearer refused to let him drink. He was so angry that he took two Shihu in his arms and went there to cover the well. The next day, someone went to fetch water and looked silly. No one could move the two Shihu, so he had to invite Wang Jinzhang again. On another occasion, his father asked him to plow. After a long time, he lost the village and couldn't control the depth. In a fit of anger, he used his fingers as the village. He didn't go home until noon. He was framed and died in October of the third year of Jiaqing.

Tourism

There are many scenic spots in Yigou Town, and the place names are widely spread among the people. For example, "there are no mountains when you walk into the city, but you can't see the city when you go into the city", the lion rings in Beiguan, the trouser leg bridge in Nanguan, two green mountains out of the east gate, Pipa Temple out of the west gate, the strings don't ring, four mountains and five temples, the cart in the temple yard, and the iron hoop pagoda tree. These scenes sound really picturesque and enchanting.

It is said that a long time ago, three kilometers east of the east gate of Yigou, there were two green mountains, and there were people living at the foot of the mountain. At that time, the mountains were luxuriant in vegetation, the seasons were like spring, the mountains were clear and the scenery was pleasant. Through the vicissitudes of time, now the castle peak has been razed to the ground, leaving only two villages at the foot. These two villages are still called big castle peak and small castle peak. For this reason, it is widely spread that there are two green hills out of the east gate, and there are no mountains left.
