In 2012, the gross output value of tiemen town was 3.1 billion yuan, the added value of industries above designated scale was 1.135 billion yuan, the investment in fixed assets was 1.16 billion yuan, and the tax revenue was 113 million yuan.
primary industry
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, tiemen was short of water conservancy facilities, backward in production technology, low in grain production, with a yield of only a few tens of kilograms per unit area, and farmers' income was small, so most of them could not be self-sufficient. since the founding of the people's Republic of China, the Communist Party and the people's government have attached great importance to agricultural production, improved agricultural production conditions, and built a series of water conservancy projects. The area of irrigated land is continuously expanded. Around 1958, tiemen commune built duanjiagou reservoir, Weixing canal, Shangzhuang reservoir, Yumei reservoir, caizhuang reservoir, huangwan reservoir and donggouhe reservoir, which played an important role in agricultural production. After 1970, the villages of tiemen commune built pumping wells, reservoirs and electric irrigation stations. Water conservancy projects were built in every village, and agricultural production conditions were improved to a certain extent. In 1976, tiemen people's commune managed the Beijian river with 55000 projects and 15 hectares of land. In 1978, tiemen commune had 4723 hectares of cultivated land and 1000 hectares of irrigated land, accounting for 21%, ranking first in Xin'an County. The yield of summer grain was 308 kg and that of autumn grain was 258 kg. in 1980, after the implementation of the household contract responsibility system in rural areas, economic crops were planted in large areas, and the forest and fruit industry, greenhouse vegetables, tobacco leaf and pepper became the main industries to increase agricultural income, and gradually formed a scale. In 1983, the total grain output of tiemen town was 35600 tons, 1.3 times that of 1978. in 2010, tiemen town transformed the medium and low yield fields in Nandaling. The total investment of the project is 6 million yuan, and 333.3 hectares of land is planned to be reconstructed. The project involves laojundong, Caidong, Chencun, nangaozhuang, chaocun and other villages. The project has 14 new deep wells, 1 repair and supporting machine well, 42 kilometers of buried pipes, 8.5 kilometers of field tractor roads, 9 kilometers of power transmission and transformation lines, 15000 road forests and shelterbelts, and more than 900 field outlets. It can ensure 333.3 hectares of land to achieve water-saving irrigation, and the comprehensive benefit of land will increase by more than 20%. In the same year, tiemen town newly developed two farmers' professional cooperatives, including one municipal demonstration cooperative, with a registered capital of more than 500000 yuan, and 3000 farmers' technical training. according to the overall planning of "grasping pepper and tobacco in the south, cherry and walnut in the north", in 2010, tiemen town planted 1200 hectares of pepper and 200 hectares of high-quality tobacco along both sides of the ferromagnetic road; 33.3 hectares of land was transferred to plant flowers with tiemen village as the center; 66.7 hectares of walnut was replanted along both sides of the northern ring road with Xue village and Gaogou village as the center; and two hectares of trees were planted along the road from Longjian village to Yunding coal mine On the other hand, 66.7 hectares of walnut trees and cherry trees were planted on the side land, and 66.7 hectares of walnut trees were planted in cuijiazhuang village. In 1950, there were 3800 large livestock in tiemen Town, including 3000 farm cattle and 800 donkeys, mules and horses. Livestock and poultry include pigs, sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and geese, with sheep, pigs and chickens accounting for the largest proportion. before the 1970s, cattle, donkeys, mules and horses were the most large livestock. At that time, the mechanization degree was poor. Cattle and horses were the main driving forces of agricultural production. Cattle were mainly cultivated, while donkeys, mules and horses could also be used for transportation. since the 1990s, with the rapid development of agricultural mechanization, the number of large livestock has decreased significantly. Cattle are raised for the purpose of eating meat, and the transportation of donkeys, horses and mules has decreased gradually. Only a few mountain farmers raise cattle and donkeys for farming. The number of small livestock (poultry) breeding increased sharply, and there were a large number of specialized breeding households. The number of specialized households with more than 10000 chickens was 12 in tiemen Town, and there were 38 specialized households with 2000-5000 chickens. In 2006, only Huailin village with more than 600 people raised more than 1000 chickens in 27 households, basically forming an industry. after 2008, there will be special breeding such as raising meat pigeon, quail, scorpion, fish, turtle, snail and insect. In 2010, ten thousand pig farms were built in Chencun, driving the livestock and poultry industry in Caidong, nangaozhuang, chaocun, Liuhe, Yunding, cuijiazhuang, Donggou and other villages. Chencun attracts investment of more than 5 million yuan to build a 10000 head pig farm, which will benefit the farmers every year
