Huanxi town
Huanxi town is a town under the jurisdiction of Jin'an District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is located in the northeast of Jin'an District, Fuzhou City. It was merged with Guling Township in 2004 and has 24 village committees, including She ethnic minority.

History of villages and towns
In Tang Dynasty, Huanxi belonged to jixiali, bazuo township of Min county. After the sixth year of Taiping Xingguo in Song Dynasty (981), bazuo township was transferred to Huai'an county. In Yuan Dynasty, it was changed to capital. Huanxi belonged to 6 capitals of bazuo township of Huai'an county. In 1508, Huai'an county was merged into Houguan County, and Huanxi was the 42nd capital of bazuo township of Houguan county. In Qing Dynasty, Huanxi belonged to dabeiling District of Houguan county.
During the period of the Republic of China, today's Huanxi was divided into two townships: Huanxi and Jiehou, which were under the jurisdiction of Xindian district (5 districts) of Minhou County. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, Huanxi belonged to the eighth District of Minhou County (Shipai District, later changed to Beifeng district and Beifeng commune). In 1962, it was under the jurisdiction of Fuzhou suburb, and in 1970, it was under the jurisdiction of Beifeng district. In 1975, Beifeng district was abolished, and Huanxi was transferred to the suburbs of Fuzhou City.

In ancient times, Huanxi town was an important military area for military strategists. In Ming Dynasty, "Jianghu village" was set up in Jianghu village, where one man was in charge of the pass and ten thousand men were invincible. Qi Jiguang, the Anti Japanese general, once stationed troops at Zhaikou, then drove the coastal areas of Lianjiang county to wipe out the Japanese pirates. In 1934, Zhang Changgong and others in Longtou village of Guihu launched the agrarian revolution and established the "Soviet" regime.
During the Anti Japanese War, Huanxi town was the Anti Japanese base camp in Fuzhou area. During the war of liberation, the "Dongling guerrillas" led by the Communist Party of China fought and operated here for a long time. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Guihu area was named "old revolutionary base area" and built "February 3rd revolutionary memorial hall" to set an example for future generations.

Nao village has more than 2 million tons of kaolin reserves. There are 100 million cubic meters of water resources in Guihu River and Baimei river. The water resources of Guihu river reach 29066 kW. The installed capacity of Yueyang hydropower station has reached 570 kW, with an annual generating capacity of 2 million kwh. Main traffic road
Huanxi town is 15 kilometers away from the city center, which is the main traffic road of the north gate of Fuzhou. In the Song Dynasty, the post road from Fuzhou to eastern Fujian and to Wenzhou in Zhejiang Province started from jingloumen in Fuzhou and passed through Huanxi, commonly known as "Wenzhou Road". There was also a "Post shop" in Huanxi village. In 1956, the "fufei" highway from Fuzhou City to Feishi, Lianjiang county was opened to traffic, passing through the territory of Huanxi town for 15 kilometers.
