Guanmian Township, belonging to Kaizhou District of Chongqing, is located in the north of Kaizhou District, connecting Baiquan Township and Wuxi County in the East, Tanjia town and Heyan town in the south, manyue Township and Dajin town in the West and Xianyi Township in Chengkou County in the north. It is 86km away from the people's government of Kaizhou District, with a total area of 143 square kilometers.
Before October 1949, guanmian Township belonged to Baiquan township; in November 1984, it was changed from guanmian commune to guanmian township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Guan Xiang township was 10171. As of June 2020, guanmian village has jurisdiction over one community and seven administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in group 1 of guanmian village.
In 2018, there were seven industrial enterprises in guanmian Township, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before October 1949, guanmian Township belonged to Baiquan township.
In December 1953, Baiquan township was divided into Yaocheng, guanmian, Quanxiu, Baili, Baiquan and Zhonghua.
In December 1956, Yaocheng and Quanxiu townships were merged into guanmian township.
In January 1958, guanmian township was changed into guanmian commune.
In November 1984, it was changed from guanmian commune to guanmian township.

The original 114 villagers' groups were merged into 31 villagers' groups.
