Mazhai town

It is under the jurisdiction of Erqi District of Zhengzhou City, 6 kilometers southwest of the city. It borders Xingyang city in the west, Xinmi City in the south, Zhongyuan District in the north and Jiangang reservoir in Houzhai township of Erqi in the East. The town covers an area of 30.4 square kilometers. Mazhai town governs 13 administrative villages, 54 natural villages, 76 villager groups, with a permanent population of 60579 (2017). Zhengzhou Butterfly Island Scenic Spot is located in Louhe village, Mazhai Town, Erqi District, Zhengzhou City, close to the South Fourth Ring Road and only 15 km away from the city center.
