Niji street, belonging to Caoxian County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the west of Caoxian county. It is connected with caocheng street in the East, Zhengzhuang town in the south, Zhuanmiao town and Weiwan town in the west, and Qinghe street in the north. The area is 54 square kilometers. In 2011, the total population of the district was 44100.
In November 1988, Niji township was built. In September 2011, Niji township was abolished and Niji town was established. In December 2013, the town was withdrawn and Niji street was built. In June 2020, Niji Street governs 26 administrative villages.
At the end of 2011, the total financial revenue of Niji street was 20.47 million yuan, an increase of 8% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 17.16 million yuan, an increase of 19.5% over the previous year.
Historical evolution
In 1735 (the 13th year of Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty), the territory was divided into chunmuli, xiyuli, anyeli and huangyuli.
In 1957, it belonged to xinzhongji Township and wanglvji Township respectively.
At the beginning of 1958, xingfulai commune was established by merging the two townships. At the end of the same year, it was renamed Niji commune.
In December 1983, Wang Lvji township was established and 29 natural villages in the South were assigned to Wang Lvji township.
In November 1988, wangluji township was abolished and assigned to Weiwan Township, Zhengzhuang Township and Niji Township respectively.
In September 2011, Niji township was abolished and Niji town was established.
