Chaiguan Township, belonging to Shahe City, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the southwest of Shahe City, bordering Cejing Township in the East and Southeast, Hejin town and Miaoshang township of Wu'an city in the southwest, Chanfang Township in the northwest, and Liushigang Township in the northeast. It is 45 kilometers away from the people's Government of Shahe City, with a total area of 83.1 square kilometers.
In 1953, chaiguan township was established; in 1961, chaiguan township was changed into chaiguan commune; in 1983, chaiguan commune was changed into chaiguan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Chai Guan township was 18712. As of June 2020, chaiguan village has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in chaiguan village.
The main food crops in chaiguan township are wheat, corn and millet; the main animal husbandry is pig, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there were 10 industrial enterprises in chaiguan township.
