Daicun town
Daicun town is subordinate to Xiaoshan District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the south suburb of Hangzhou City, southwest of Xiaoshan District. It borders Linpu town in the East, Heshang town in the south, Fuyang District in the west, and Yiqiao town in the north. It is the center of the South of Xiaoshan. The town center is located at 30 ° 01 ′ 14 ″ N and 120 ° 11 ′ 29 ″ E.
Dai village has always been a major town in southern Xiaoshan. It was once the location of the district office, which was composed of three townships, including Dacun, Yongxing and Yunnan. The administrative area of the town is 62.8 square kilometers, the total registered residence population is 38 thousand, and 22 administrative villages and 1 communities are under administration. There are Xiaoshan sixth middle school, the Sixth People's Hospital (orthopedic hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine) and other units directly under the district level organs.
In 2014, the town achieved a GDP of 2.1 billion yuan and a total financial revenue of 171 million yuan, including 74.12 million yuan of local financial revenue and 20900 yuan of per capita income of farmers. On July 29, 2020, it was named as the National Health township (county) of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.

The origin of town name
According to the gazetteer of Xiaoshan County: "it is said that more than 500 years ago, this place was originally four small natural villages: songshubutou (surname Quan), xiantanli (surname tan), donggaoyuan (surname Dong) and gaoduntou (surname Gao). Later, Dai's ancestors moved to this place to start a family, and the first four surnames gradually declined. The Dai clan merged the four villages into one, so it was named Dai village. "

In 1930, it was called daicun township.
In 1951, it was daicun, Lingxi, Zhenting, Baishu and Maanshan.
