Yang'an Town of Leling City is located in the northwest plain of Shandong Province, with a total area of 89.96 square kilometers and cultivated land of 76000 mu. Historical evolution

The origin of Yang'an Town can be traced back to the Northern Song Dynasty, which was more than 1000 years ago. Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty knew Liu Jiye's prestige and granted him the left leading general and Zhengzhou defense envoy. After Liu Jiye returned to the Song Dynasty, his duplicate surname was Yang and his single name was Ye. Emperor Taizong of Song Dynasty, who had rich experience in defending Liao state with Yang Ye, sent him to daizhou to deploy troops for the third diplomatic corps and to control pan Mei. The Liao army attacked from Yanmen. Yang Ye led hundreds of cavalry around the back of the Liao army from the path. Yang Ye was promoted to Yunzhou observation envoy. After Liao saw the banner of Yang Ye, he left without fighting.

At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, the Liao army occupied the sixteen prefectures of Youyun, and constantly invaded the territory of the Song Dynasty. Song Zhenzong sent three groups of people to fight against Liao. Among them, Yang Ye, the general of the East Road, led 100000 troops from bianzhou to the north, and all the way went triumphantly. 300 kilometers away from Youzhou, there was not enough food and grass. Pan Mei, Wang Kai and other people in the court crowded out Yang's army and cut off the supply, so Yang's army had to camp here. During this period, Yang Ye continued to train his soldiers day by day, reorganize military affairs, and create a new array to step up the training. It is said that this array was realized in Yang Ye's sleep. He made full use of the open field of vision, with ambush in front and interception in the back. He echoed from left to right and linked each other to give full play to the combat effectiveness of each soldier. Later, under the harsh conditions of shortage of food and grass, Yang Jiajun used this array to defeat the Liao army here. This array was later named "Yang'an array".

Yang ye saw the river in the north and the vast area in the south, so he said to Yang LIULANG: "in the future, you need to remember this place. You can open up wasteland for training, and you can be rejected by Liao army." After Yang Ye defeated Chen Jiayu and was captured by Liao army, he fasted for three days and died in Liao camp. He was 59 years old. Yang LIULANG kept his father's words in mind, reclaimed wasteland here, stepped up military training, and continued to carry forward the "Yang'an array" and beat the Liao army. During the period when Yang's army was stationed in the village, he had strict military discipline and was well received by the local villagers.

Since then, "Yang'an array" has been gradually called "Yang'an Town" and has been handed down to the present day. Until the end of Ming Dynasty, the descendants of General Yang would come here every year to pay homage to their ancestors. It is said that during the Anti Japanese War, when two small teams of Japanese aggressors were marching through the ancient battlefield of "Yang'an formation", the wind suddenly blew around and the dark clouds covered the sun. Nearly half of the little devils suddenly suffered from abdominal pain and couldn't walk around. Other people also lost their way and walked around for two days. Local people said that they were the spirits of the Yang family army who died in the war, and they still loved themselves Our motherland.
