Kushan Township
Kwu Shan township, which belongs to Juxian, Rizhao City, Shandong, is located in the northeast of Juxian. It borders on the southeast and Wulian County in the Li and Wang Hu towns. The South and West are adjacent to the Chess town. The north is linked to Dongguan Town, with an area of 106.94 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population was 30368.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), a few villages in the territory belonged to the third district of Ju county, and most of them belonged to the fourth district. October 1, 1955, it is divided into Fengshan and Dongguan district. In February 1971, it was separated from Dongguan district and Kushan commune was established. In June 1984, Kushan township was changed. As of june2020, Kushan has five communities and one administrative village.
In 2018, there were 28 industrial enterprises in Kushan Township, including 3 above scale and 164 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution

In March 1958, Fengshan and Dongguan district were cancelled, and some villages were separated to establish Kushan township; in September of the same year, Kushan township was changed to Qianjin commune.
In January 1959, Qianjin commune and Qunxing commune were merged into Dongguan commune; in August of the same year, they separated and established Kushan commune.
In January 1963, Dongguan district was established by merging with Dongguan commune.
In February 1971, it was separated from Dongguan district and Kushan commune was established.
In June 1984, Kushan township was changed.
