Jiulong Town
Jiulong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Laishui County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Laishui County, bordering shijiaying Township, Fangshan District, Beijing in the East, Puwa Township, Fangshan District in the southeast, Sanpo town and Zhaogezhuang town in the south, xiejiabao Township and Hedong Town, Zhuolu County in the west, and Qingshui Town, Mentougou District in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 21.8 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 18.7 km, with a total area of 224.19 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total population of Jiulong Town registered residence was 16287.
In August 1958, it was established as a town factory commune. In January 1962, the town factory was set up. In July 1993, the district was withdrawn and Jiulong Town was established. As of June 2020, Jiulong Town has jurisdiction over 30 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at 22 Government Street, Beizhuang. Jiulong Town is the planting site of Laishui walnut, a national geographical indication product of China.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Jiulong Town was 21 million yuan. The total industrial output value is 150 million yuan. The total revenue was 118.3 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Jiulong Town, including one above scale and 27 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Jiulong Town is located in the north of Laishui County, 52 kilometers away from the people's Government of Laishui county. It borders shijiaying township of Fangshan District, Beijing in the East, Puwa township of Fangshan District in the southeast, Sanpo town and Zhaogezhuang town in the south, xiejiabao Township and Hedong town of Zhuolu County in the West, and Qingshui town of Mentougou District in the north. Jiulong Town belongs to mountainous landforms, with the general trend of higher in the north and lower in the south, higher in the East and lower in the West. The highest peak in the territory is baicaopan, with an altitude of 1983 meters; the lowest point is the river bed in the south end of the west, with an altitude of 350 meters.

Jiulong Town belongs to the eastern monsoon warm temperate semi-arid region. In winter, because it is located in the southeast of Mongolia high pressure, the dry and cold winter wind blowing from the mainland to the sea prevails. In summer, due to the northward movement of the subtropical high, the warm summer monsoon from the ocean to the mainland prevails. Spring and autumn are the transition seasons from cold to hot and from hot to cold, with four distinct seasons, forming the monsoon climate characteristics of dry and windy in spring, hot and rainy in summer, high and crisp in autumn and cold and less snow in winter.

There are three main rivers in Jiulong Town, all tributaries of Juma River. Two of them originated from the territory, zhuangligou and eyugou, and one from Zhuolu County, named Xiaoxihe. One from the north to the south, one from the east to the west, and the other from the northwest to the southeast of Zhuolu. The three rivers flow into Juma River in Sanpo town at the southern end of the territory. The total length of the river is 45 km.
