Guozhuang town

Guzhuang Town, which belongs to Juxian, Rizhao City, Shandong, is located in the northwest of Juxian. It is adjacent to the Luo river in the East and Southeast. It borders on Yishui and Linyi in the South and West. It connects to the town of Juxian in the north, with an area of 64.85 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population is 34429.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), the situation was successively in the county of Juxian, Jining Dao and Luang Dao in Shandong Province. In July 1949, it was Juyi County, Yimeng special office of the central and southern Shandong Provincial Bureau. In June 1984, Guozhuang township was changed. As of june2020, Guozhuang town has six communities. In December 2013, the town was withdrawn.

Historical evolution

In 1955, it was changed to Luohe district.

On February 24, 1958, the fourteenth district was cancelled and Guozhuang township was established. In September of the same year, it was changed to Guozhuang commune.

In January 1959, it was incorporated into Anzhuang commune.

In December 1962, it was changed to Luohe district.

In February 1963, Guozhuang commune was cancelled and transferred to Luohe commune.

In February 1976, Guozhuang commune was re established.

In June 1984, Guozhuang township was changed.

In December 2013, the town was withdrawn.

The east of Guozhuang town is hilly terrain, the central part is the area of combination of hills and plains, and the west is the combination area of mountainous area and hill.
