Yuli Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the hinterland of Jiaodong Peninsula, in the middle of Weihai, Qingdao and Yantai, in the northwest of Rushan City, Xiacun town in the East, Zhuxiang town and Yazi town in the west, and Wuji town in the North, with an administrative area of 110.09 square kilometers.
In 1951, Yuli township was established; in 1958, Yuli commune was changed; in March 1984, Yuli town was changed from commune. By the end of 2018, 32223 people registered residence in Yuli town. As of June 2020, Yuli town has 42 administrative villages.
In 2018, Yuli town's financial revenue was 9.62 million yuan, realizing a total rural economic revenue of 2.9 billion yuan. In 2018, there were 18 industrial enterprises in Yuli Town, including 6 above scale enterprises and 42 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Yuli ancient city site is located on a plain 150 meters south of Chengyin village, Yuli Town, Rushan City. It is 3.5 kilometers away from Zhuxiang village in the west, 1.5 kilometers away from wangshui village in the northeast, beiyongjia village in the southeast, Pozi village in the southwest and Chengyin village in the north. The old city site is rectangular in plane, about 1500 meters long from north to South and 800 meters wide from east to west, with a total area of about 1.2 million square meters. In October 1985, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit at the county level by Rushan people's government. In December 2013, it was announced as a municipal cultural relics protection unit in Weihai City. In October 2013, it was upgraded to a provincial cultural relics protection unit.
