Rushankou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Rushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the south of Rushan City, on the North Bank of Rushankou port, adjacent to Baishan town and Dagushan town in the East, facing Haiyangsuo town across Rushankou port in the south, Rushanzhai town across Rushan River in the West, and Xiacun town in the north, with an administrative area of 89.21 square kilometers.
Rushankou town originally belonged to Haiyang county. In 1945, it belonged to tengjiazhuang District of Rushan county. In December 1985, ZHUJIAZHUANG township was abolished and merged into Rushankou town. In 2009, Rushankou town was merged with Rushan economic development zone. By the end of 2018, the population of Rushan Kou Town registered residence was 33847. As of June 2020, Rushankou town has one community and 36 administrative villages.
In 2018, the financial revenue of Rushankou town was 87.25 million yuan, an increase of 76.41% over the previous year; the per capita net income of farmers was 20830 yuan, an increase of 5% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 179 industrial enterprises in Rushankou Town, including 81 large-scale enterprises and 23 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Rushankou town originally belonged to Haiyang county.
In 1941, it belonged to the first and seventh districts of Muhai administrative office.
In 1945, it belonged to tengjiazhuang District of Rushan county.
In 1958, Tang family commune was established.
In 1980, the residence moved to ZHUJIAZHUANG and changed its name to ZHUJIAZHUANG commune.
In March 1984, it was divided into Rushankou town and ZHUJIAZHUANG township.
In December 1985, ZHUJIAZHUANG township was abolished and merged into Rushankou town.
In 2009, Rushankou town was merged with Rushan economic development zone.
