Laozhai town
Laozhai town is a town under the jurisdiction of Yutai County, Jining City, Shandong Province. It is located in the southwest of Shandong Province and the east of Yutai County. It is the east gate of Yutai County and the gateway of the border between Shandong and Jiangsu. With an administrative area of 47.92 square kilometers and a permanent population of 28167 (2017), it has jurisdiction over 28 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Laobei village.
Laozhai district was established in 1944, and became Laozhai people's commune in 1962. In 1984, the township was changed, and in June 2010, the township was removed to build a town.
Laozhai town is located in the plain, the main rivers are Beijing Hangzhou canal, Yaolou River, Fuxin River, sulubian River and so on. It is rich in coal resources. The Huxi mine of Daizhuang Shengjian coal mine, Yutai Shuanghe coal mine and Yutai Huxi Industrial Park are located in Shandong Province. Laozhai town has developed agricultural industry. It is a strong agricultural town and a big aquatic town. Its main products are wheat and rice. Its aquatic products are mainly river crabs, lobsters and well bred fish. 348 provincial road and Binhu Avenue pass through the border. In 2015, the gross domestic product of Laozhai town was 2.895 billion yuan and the fiscal revenue was 223 million yuan.
Historical evolution
Six or seven thousand years ago, the Taihao tribe of Dongyi settled here. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, Laozhai was a polar state. in the spring and Autumn period, it belonged to the mother town of Ning in the state of Lu. during the Warring States period, it belonged to the state of song and the city first, and then to the state of Wei and the county. in the Qin Dynasty, it belonged to Huling County, Xuejun county. From the Western Han Dynasty to the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Laozhai belonged to Huling County, Shanyang County (later renamed Hulu county). In the Southern Dynasty and Song Dynasty, Laozhai belonged to Gaoping County. In 596, Laozhai belonged to Fangyu county (renamed Yutai County in 762). In 1265, Yutai was incorporated into Jinxiang County, and Laozhai belonged to Jinxiang County. Yutai County was restored three years later. During the Xianfeng Period of the Qing Dynasty (1850-1861), when the yellow water receded, it was once a wilderness. At that time, there was an old high platform, and several families moved from Juye Xinghai to live here. Later, they successively moved to Yuncheng and Juye to settle down, and built a tuzhai ("Zhai" i.e. "Zhai") for safety, hence the name "Laozhai". In the early years of the Republic of China, Renhe township was established. In 1938, Laozhai belonged to the seventh district of Yutai Anti Japanese democratic government. In 1944, the seventh district was changed to Laozhai district. In 1949, Laozhai district was abolished and incorporated into Guting district. In 1952, the system of Laozhai district was restored. In 1956, Jinxiang and Yutai counties were merged, Laozhai district was abolished, Guting district was merged, and they were subordinate to Jinxiang County. In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and Laozhai was separated from Guting district to establish Laozhai township. In August, Laozhai township was abolished and incorporated into Guting people's commune. In May 1962, Laozhai separated from Guting people's Commune and established Laozhai people's commune. In 1964, goldfish was divided into counties and the system of Yutai County was restored. Laozhai people's commune was restored to Yutai County. In 1984, Laozhai people's commune was abolished and Laozhai township was established. In May 2010, Laozhai township was abolished and Laozhai town was established as its original administrative region. The town government was stationed in the former Laozhai township government.

Laozhai town is located at 116.77 ° e, 36.02 ° n, the easternmost end of Yutai County, the West Bank of Weishan Lake, the junction of four counties (Yutai County, Weishan County, Peixian county and Fengxian County) of two provinces (Shandong Province and Jiangsu Province). It lies on Zhaoyang Lake in the North, Peixian County of Jiangsu Province in the East, sulubian River and Fengxian County in the south, and Guting sub district office across Fuxing River in the West. The maximum distance between East and west of the town is 11600 meters, and the maximum distance between North and south is 9600 meters, with a total area of 47.92 square kilometers.

Beijing Hangzhou canal
It was excavated along the abandoned ancient canal in 1958, with an average width of 50m. It is located on the outside of Huxi levee. It enters Laozhai town from Fuxin estuary and flows into Jiangsu Province from southeast to Yaolou River Estuary.
Yao Louhe
Dongbian River, also known as Dongbian River in Shandong Province, originates from guojiakou, Peixian County, on the West Bank of Dasha River, passes between qianyaolou and Yutai donglizhuang in Peixian county to the north, enters Yutai territory to the west of Shahe River, turns north by west, and flows to Zhaoyang lake near Nantian village. The total length is 23 km, including 2.8 km of Sulu border and 4.5 km of Yutai section. The drainage area is 113 square kilometers. The bottom of the river is 8-10 meters wide. The bottom elevation is bounded by ZAOCAO highway bridge. It is 31.0 meters below the bridge and 31.0-33.0 meters above the bridge. The top elevation of the downstream dike is 39.0 meters and the top width is 4 meters. It can prevent the flood when the water level of Zhaoyang Lake is 37.0 meters.
Fuxin River
It originates from Xuandi temple in Dangshan, Anhui Province. After passing through DIHE River and yihekou in Northern Jiangsu Province, it goes northward into Yutai County, 3 kilometers to Zhangba village, and passes through Zhangyan sluice built in 1981. The flood control flow of Zhangyan sluice is 1157 m3 / s, with a return period of 20 years and a turnover flow of 25.5 m3 / s. there is a lock with a width of 10 meters and a length of 100 meters nearby. The river flows northeastward to the south of Xiyao village and into Zhaoyang lake.
DIHE River in Northern Jiangsu
It is also known as sulubian river. Originally, there was only sulubian dike. In 1959, it was excavated into the North Jiangsu dike River, which originated from chenlou, northwest village of Fengxian County. It flows northeast along the border of Sulu and enters Fuxin River to the east of Xiaoqiao. The bottom elevation below the siliangan estuary is 31.5m, the bottom width is 20-25m, and the design discharge at the main stream entrance is 201 m3 / s. Laozhai section starts from the south of Dongli village in the East, flows westward to Zhaozhuang West, converges with Yihe River, and then flows northward into Fuxin River, with a length of about 7.5 km.
