Angsai Village
Angsai Township, subordinate to Zaduo County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Zaduo county. It is adjacent to Yushu County in the East, Nangqian County in the south, jieduo Township and Adou Township in the west, and sahutang town in the north. It is 33 kilometers away from the residence of Zaduo county government, with a total area of 1682.85 square kilometers.
Before the founding of new China, angsai township was the birthplace of gejimeima tribe; in April 1984, angsai commune was renamed angsai township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of ang Sai township was 7314. In 2019, angsai Township governs three administrative villages, namely, enthusiasm, surao and niandu, and the people's government is located in yuenigong.
The economy of angsai township is mainly animal husbandry, which is the pillar industry, and Cordyceps sinensis is the main source of income for herdsmen.
Evolution of organizational system
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was the birthplace of the gejimeima tribe. The residence of the tribe was "yuenigong".
On June 1, 1962, the Ansai commune was established from the ligation commune.
In 1963, angsai commune was changed into angsai township.
After 1969, it was also called Aung Sai commune.
In April 1984, Aung Sai commune was renamed Aung Sai township.

Angsai township is located in the valley area of Zhaqu River Basin in the upper reaches of Lancang River in the east of Zaduo county. The territory is mainly mountainous, with many Alpine canyons. The mountains account for 80% of the total area of the township. There are 36 peaks with an altitude of more than 5000 meters.

Angsai township has a continental plateau climate. Affected by the geographical environment, the climate is cold throughout the year, with an average annual temperature of 0.8 ℃. There is no obvious difference between the four seasons, only cold and warm. The warm season lasts for 6, 7 and 8 months, while the cold season lasts for 9 months, with an annual precipitation of 490.3 mm.
