Houguan town
Houguan Town, subordinate to Weixian County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Weixian county. It is adjacent to Changzhuang Township in the East, Changtun Township in the south, Hezhao Township in the West and Wucun Township in nangong city in the north. It is 25.4km away from Weixian County People's Government, with a total area of 70.82km2.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Houguan town belonged to nangong city of Hebei Province and Linqing City of Shandong Province; in May 1985, it was changed from Houguan township to Houguan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Hou Guan town was 39890. As of June 2020, Houguan town has 36 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Houguan town is located at No.1 Guangming Road, North Houguan village.

History of construction
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to nangong city of Hebei Province and Linqing City of Shandong Province.
In 1940, it belonged to Qingjiang county. In 1945, it was transferred to Weixian county.
In 1949, it belonged to the Tenth District.
In 1953, Houguan township was built, belonging to four districts.
In August 1958, it was changed into Hongxing commune; in November of the same year, it was changed into Houguan commune.
In January 1984, Houguan commune was changed into Houguan township.
In May 1985, it was changed from Houguan township to Houguan town.
In January 1996, Wangcun township was merged into Houguan town.
