Guanshui town is a town under the jurisdiction of Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. It is located in the south of Muping District, 37 ° 30 ′ N and 121 ° 56 ′ e, 50 km away from the center of the city. Rich in water resources, it is known as the first apple town in China. Ruins
Guanyang ancient city site. It is located in the east open area of Guanyang River in the second half of guanshui town. According to Mouping county annals of the Republic of China, "Guanyang, Han county, was not often abandoned in the past dynasties, but not restored after the Tang Dynasty." "in Sui Dynasty, the city was only half built, but the country changed, and the project was not completed, so it was named Bancheng." The present site is rectangular with a total area of 400000 square meters. The unearthed cultural relics include gray pottery beans, gray pottery pots, bricks with child and mother clasps, tubular tiles, iron plows, knife coins, five baht coins, pottery seals, etc. Through the investigation of the local and county cultural departments, the site of the city wall was found. Through textual research, the upper layer is the Han Dynasty accumulation, and the lower layer is the Warring States accumulation. The site is well preserved. In 1976, it was listed as a cultural relic protection unit at the county level.
Jiaojia site. Located in the west of Jiujia Changzhi village, guanshui Town, on the gentle slope at the foot of Tieling mountain, with a total area of 23800 square meters, it was discovered during the cultural relics census in 1982. The unearthed stone tools include stone tools, stone knives and stone chisels. The pottery includes tripod, tripod handle and bottom. The red pottery with sand, mica and talc is mainly made by hand. According to research, the site is about 5500 years ago. There are three ash pits exposed on the East Cliff at the northern end of the site. The soil in the pits is soft, all of which are lime soil, containing pottery, red burnt soil, carbon particles, etc. In the east of the Middle Road, there is a cultural layer, which contains pottery pieces and braised clay. The whole site has not been damaged and is designated as a cultural relic protection unit at the county level.
