Jiehe town
Jiehe town is a town under the jurisdiction of Tengzhou City, Shandong Province. It is located in the southwest of Shandong Province and the north of Tengzhou City. National highway 104, Beijing Shanghai railway and Beijing Taiwan Expressway pass through the town. It is the "North Gate" of Zaozhuang and Tengzhou. The administrative region covers an area of 82.32 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 69875 (in 2017), and governs one community and 63 administrative villages.
Jiehe town is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, with Lingquan mountain (Longshan), Ma'anshan, Mashan, Langshan and Fushan distributed in the East, North and West, and plain in the south. It belongs to warm temperate monsoon continental climate. Jiehe River, Xiaolong River and Beisha river run through the territory from northeast to southwest. Mineral resources include limestone, granite, river sand, clay, coal, etc.
Jiehe town mainly grows potato, wheat, corn and other crops, and potato planting is the pillar industry. Industrial categories mainly include cement building materials, mechanical casting, plastic weaving, construction and installation, fine chemicals, etc. Tourist attractions include Luban Cultural Park, potato theme park, lingquanshan Forest Park, Beishahe Massacre Memorial Hall, etc. In 2014, Jiehe town achieved a GDP of 417813 million yuan and a public budget revenue of 74.08 million yuan. Jiehe town has won the honorary titles of "China's top ten agricultural towns with the most characteristics", "national one village one product demonstration town", "national civilized town" and so on.

In the Qin Dynasty, Jiehe town belongs to Teng County, Xuejun county. In the Han Dynasty, it belonged to the state of Lu. in the Western Jin Dynasty, it belongs to Pengcheng Guofan county. In the Qing Dynasty, it was made in the Ming Dynasty. In the 18th year of zhijiaqing (1813), Tengxian county was named as the 72 district by the eight trigrams of "Ren, Yi, Li, Zhi, Xiao, Di, Zhong and Xin". Today Jiehe town includes most of ren'er District, most of yi'si district and a small part of Yi'er district. After the revolution of 1911, it was temporarily ruled by the Qing Dynasty. In 1931, the county was divided into nine districts. Today Jiehe town belongs to the Fifth District, which is located in the east of the Fifth District. In 1941, Teng County was divided into nine districts and 81 townships. Today Jiehe town is divided into five districts, Jiehe Township and zhaoxinjie township. In December 1945, Tengxian county was liberated and the seventh district was set up. The administrative area is now Jiehe town and Longyang town. The district government is located in longyangdian village. In March 1946, the seventh district established 16 townships and one town, namely Longyang Township, Shatu Township, zhongdiao Township, Zhuangtou Township, gumiao Township, longshantun Township, Weisi Township, zhuqiu Township, shangshangtang Township, Longshan Township, Daguan Township, Wanyuan Township, Beishahe Township, zhaoxinjie Township, Liuquan Township, Fangling Township and Jiehe township. In March 1947, the Kuomintang troops occupied the boundary river again; in April, the returning regiment established the Fifth District Office of Teng County in Dingzhuang village, restoring the original Fifth District. In May 1948, the Fifth District Office was withdrawn, and the old regime collapsed; in July, Tengxian county was liberated for the second time, and the establishment of the seventh district in 1946 was restored. In 1953, the seventh district people's government moved from longshandian village to nanjiehe village. In September 1955, the seven districts were renamed Jiehe district. In June 1958, Jiehe district was abolished, and 17 townships in the original Jiehe district were merged into 4 townships, namely Jiehe Township, Longyang Township, gumiao Township and Sitang township; in October 1958, 4 townships were abolished, and red flag people's commune was established. The administrative regions of the original 4 townships were taken as the administrative regions of red flag people's commune, and the commune organs were located in nanjiehe village. In October 1959, the red flag people's commune was abolished and divided into Jiehe people's Commune and Longyang people's commune with Lingquan mountain (Longshan) ridge to the South and the North Bank of Beisha River as the boundary, Longyang commune to the East and Jiehe commune to the West. The administrative area of Jiehe people's commune is the same as that of Jiehe town. In January 1965, Jiehe people's commune was changed into Jiehe district. In December 1968, Jiehe district was restored to Jiehe people's commune. In March 1984, Jiehe people's commune was changed into Jiehe town. In May 1988, Teng County was abolished and Tengzhou City at the county level was established, which belongs to Jiehe town. In October, the people's Government of the town moved from nanshou of nanjiehe village to Xixin town.

In 1813, there were 31 villages in ren'er district (39 villages in ren'er District), 18 villages in yi'si district (21 villages in yi'si District) and 3 villages in Yi'er district (35 villages in Yi'er District). In 1941, Jiehe town was divided into five districts, Jiehe Township and zhaoxinjie township. In August 1944, 16 villages of xilizhuang, Sunzhuang, Xuying, zongzhuang, Huazhuang, Pengzhuang, nizhuang, Tulou, Gengzhuang, Songzhuang, Wangzhuang, Lilou, Malou, duzhuang, Ximeng and Dongmeng were assigned to Fushan County. In July 1948, jimiao, wangmachang, sunmachang, chenmachang, danmachang, Qiuzhuang, Chenzhuang and Huali were divided from Fushan County to Tengxian county. in the early days of the founding of new China, Anjialou was renamed Xi'an building, and XIAOZHANGZHUANG was renamed Dong'an building. In 1956, Fushan County was abolished and 16 villages including xilizhuang, Sunzhuang, Xuying, zongzhuang, Huazhuang, Pengzhuang, nizhuang, Tulou, Gengzhuang, Songzhuang, Wangzhuang, Lilou, Malou, duzhuang, Ximeng and Dongmeng were zoned back to Tengxian boundary river area; 6 villages including xixicao, zhongxicao, dongxicao, dongcaoxi, dongcaodong and mashantou originally zoned from Zou County to Fushan County were zoned back to Tengxian boundary river area. When Hongqi people's commune was founded in October 1958, it had nine farming areas: Dongcao, marlou, Zhaoxin street, Wanyuan, qianzao, Sitang, Longyang, Lizhuang and gumiao. In the same year, in order to distinguish Zhangzhuang in the north, Zhangzhuang 8.5km southeast of the town was renamed nanzhangzhuang; Lizhuang 3km south of the town was renamed donglizhuang because of its duplicate name with Lizhuang in the West. In the spring of 1959, five villages, dongyangzhuang, Yuyuan, Houzao, dongzhangzhuang and xiaowanyuan, which were included in Zou County in 1945, were zoned back to Tengxian red flag people's commune; in October, red flag people's commune was divided into Jiehe people's Commune and Longyang people's commune. Jiehe people's commune is divided into seven farming areas. in 1960, the farming area was changed into the working area (also called the management area), and the administrative village was changed into the production brigade. In January 1965, Jiehe people's commune was renamed Jiehe District, and each working point (management area) was renamed commune. Jiehe district has seven small communes: Jiehe commune, Dongcao commune, zhaoxinjie commune, Pengzhuang commune, Zaozhuang commune, Malou commune and Sunlou commune. In 1966, Jiaozhuang of Longyang people's commune was moved to Jiehe commune for the construction of Mahe reservoir, and a new village was established. In 1968, the seven small communes were merged into three communes, Jiehe, Dongcao and Zhaoxin street, and the original Jiehe District remained unchanged; in December, Jiehe district was restored to Jiehe people's commune, and the original three communes were abolished, but the original small commune was still renamed the management area. So far, there are 10 offices in Jiehe town.
