Jinchuan Town, belonging to Huinan County, Tonghua City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Huinan County. It borders Longquan town of Jingyu County in the East, liangshuihezi town of Liuhe County in the south, langshao town in the West and Fumin town in the north. In the early Qing Dynasty, Jinchuan town was called xianweichang; in September 1992, Jinchuan township was changed from township to town.
