History of construction

In the 32nd year of Wanli (1604) of the Ming Dynasty, Li Hualong, the then chief River minister, presided over the construction of eight canal gates. Among them, Wannian gate, Dingmiao gate and dunzhuang gate were built here, and Fuhe government office and Fuhe residence were set up here.

Before 1949, it belonged to Yi county.
