Wentuan town

Wentuan town covers an area of 114.35 square kilometers with a population of 45415 (2017). The terrain is high in the South and low in the north, surrounded by mountains and hills in the hinterland, with 29% of the total area of mountains, 53% of hills and 18% of flat land. There are 38700 mu of cultivated land and 25000 mu of economic forest. There are 158 mountaintops, 23 kilometers of wentuan River in the territory, and 4 small (second) reservoirs. Wentuan town is located in the northeast of Junan county. It is adjacent to Huangdun Town, Lanshan District, Rizhao City in the East, Zhonglou Town, Lanshan District, Rizhao City in the north, Lingang Economic Development Zone, Linyi City in the south, Rishi highway, Wenping road and Wenzhong Road, running through the territory. Agriculture, livestock and animal husbandry

Wentuan town is mountainous with superior natural conditions and rich resources. Over the years, wentuan town based on its own advantages, vigorously develop the forest and fruit industry. In 1993, it was named "hometown of apple" by the Ministry of agriculture. Now it has 40000 mu of high-quality fruits. Five developments

First, the construction of high-quality agricultural products base has been developed in an all-round way. Around the East and west sides of Huagou reservoir, more than 3000 mu of land has been transferred from tengjiahe, shiheyu, qiantuni and other villages, and 100000 high-quality thin shell walnuts such as Yuanfeng and Xiangling have been planted. The operation mode of "company + cooperative + base + farmer" has been adopted, which is contracted by five large households, of which the largest contracted area is more than 500 mu. Second, the development of honeysuckle industry has achieved initial results. Combined with the afforestation activities in spring, the town has invested more than 600000 yuan, dispatched 12000 people, and planted more than 1.5 million honeysuckle plants in 3000 mu.

Third, tobacco, silkworm and other traditional industries continue to maintain a good momentum of development. 2000 mu of yellow tobacco and 1800 mu of silkworm were planted.

Fourth, new clean energy has been continuously promoted. In 2017, there were 6 new biogas villages and 300 biogas digesters in our town.

Fifth, the agricultural infrastructure has been continuously improved. With an investment of more than 500000 yuan, Huanshan road of 300 Li has been restored, and a municipal land consolidation project with a total investment of 50 million yuan has been implemented. Three new ponds and dams, one large well and one barrage have been built, 2500 meters of field roads have been repaired, and 2000 mu of subsoiling land have been completed.

Industry

With the construction of heavy haul railway in central and southern Shandong and the establishment of Port Industrial Zone, wentuan, a remote town in the past, is full of vitality! As a result, the traffic construction of Junan county is blooming everywhere. The railway in central and southern Shanxi, Rishi highway, Wenping highway, Wensi highway and Wenlian highway pass through wentuan town. Datang Power Company successfully signed two 2 × 1 million thermal power projects in wentuan. The 11th five year plan is to build an integrated development zone of coal, electricity and transportation with wentuan as the center.
