Tuji town

Tuji town belongs to Luochuan County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the south of Luochuan County. It borders Sancha Township of Huanglong County in the East, Baiyi community in the south, Tianzhuang town of Huangling County in the West and huaibai town in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 28 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 7 kilometers, with a total area of 170.64 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, Tuji town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages. As of 2018, the population of registered residence in the town was 22192. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Tuji town reached 98.17 million yuan, the industrial added value was 80.69 million yuan, and the total sales of social goods was 26.39 million yuan.

Historical evolution

It is said that in the past, it was intended to set up a county government here. Because tuqing was not selected, it was named tuqing. The local accent was mistakenly named Tuji. The Tongzhi of Shaanxi Province, written by Yongzheng of Qing Dynasty, is called Tuji town.

According to Yu Zhi and Shunzhi Zhi Zhi, the soil foundation was originally under the jurisdiction of Zhengjie Township, also known as "Lanfeng township" in ancient times.

In 1929, Tuji town was established.

In October 1949, it was the eighth District, with jurisdiction over Tuji, lanzhuang, dongliangguzhuang, Dongtou, marugou and huanglianhe.

In April 1956, it was changed into a soil base area, with jurisdiction over five sub areas: soil base, lanzhuang, marugou village, yanjiazhuang and Qinguan.

In August 1958, the earth based commune was established.

In June 1984, it was changed into a town.

In June 2011, Qinguan township was abolished and merged into Tuji town.
