Haoqiao town

Haoqiao Town, belonging to Nanhe District, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Nanhe District, adjacent to Shizhao Township in the East, Sanzhao Township and Yanli Township in the south, Jiasong town in the West and Luozhuang Township in Renze District in the north, with a total area of 61.11 square kilometers.

In the Qing Dynasty, haoqiao was a natural town; in 1985, it was changed from haoqiao township to haoqiao town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in haqiao town was 69713. As of June 2020, haoqiao town has 30 administrative villages and the people's Government of haoqiao town is located in dongzhengzhuang.

The main economic crops in haoqiao town are cotton, soybean, etc., and the livestock industry is mainly raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2018, there were 80 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in haoqiao town.

History of construction

In the Qing Dynasty, haoqiao was a natural town.

In May 1953, it was built in haoqiao township.

In September 1958, it was changed into haoqiao commune.

In May 1984, haoqiao township was restored.

In 1985, it was changed from haoqiao township to haoqiao town.

In January 1996, dongxuetun township was merged into haoqiao town.

In March 1998, dongxuetun township was separated out.

In May 2005, dongxuetun township was merged into haoqiao town again.
