Lufang Township
Lufang Township, subordinate to Jinxi County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located 14 kilometers northeast of Jinxi County, adjacent to duiqiao town in the East, Huangtong Township and xiugu town in the south, Shuangtang town in the west, and Yaoxu Township and Hongguang reclamation farm in Dongxiang County in the north. Covering an area of 91 square kilometers, the township governs 9 administrative villages, 97 village groups and 68 natural villages. In late 2018, Lu Fang Township had 16 thousand and 800 registered residence population.
Lufang township is the hometown of Lu Jiuyuan, an educator and Neo Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty. There are four traditional Chinese villages and more than 200 buildings of Gan school in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
Lufang township is rich in high-quality organic rice, Gardenia jasminoides Ellis, flowers and seedlings, fruits and vegetables, fresh aquatic products, which is the core area of modern agricultural demonstration park in Jinxi County. By the end of 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Lufang township.
History of construction
At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was divided into two districts; in 1958, it was established as Lufang people's commune; in 1984, it was changed into Lufang township.

hydrology
Lufang port (Qingtian River) runs through the whole territory from southeast to northwest and joins Xinjiang River. Its tributaries are crisscross, and its water area is vast and its water quality is clear. Two large and medium-sized reservoirs, Gaofang reservoir and Majie reservoir, are located in the territory. There are one small type II reservoir, 54 Shantang reservoirs, 2 Beiba reservoirs and 17 irrigation canals in the township.

Lufang township is the hometown of Lu Jiuyuan, an educator and Neo Confucianist in the Southern Song Dynasty. The Yili gate tower and the great Confucian temple are completely preserved in Lufang village. The tomb of Lu Xiang mountain is built close to the mountain and hidden in Qiaoshang village. It is a provincial cultural relic protection unit in Jiangxi Province. There are four traditional Chinese villages and more than 200 ancient buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties in Lufang Township, which is known as the hometown of Xiangshan and the hometown of Xinxue.

Jinxi Baima Lake Provincial Wetland Park, formerly known as Gaofang reservoir (medium-sized reservoir), was built in August 1958 and completed in April 1961. The reservoir area starts from Guanqiao village, Lufang Township, Jinxi County in the north, and reaches Liujia village upstream along the Yao River Basin, including all water area of Baima Lake Reservoir area, Yao River channel, Baima Lake main canal, Xiangshan Park and Zhoushan park With a total planning area of 629.56 hectares and a wetland area of 375.85 hectares, it is a medium-sized water conservancy project integrating power generation, irrigation, drinking water source protection and utilization, and also one of the first batch of important wetlands in Jiangxi Province.
