Xiaping town
Xiaping Town, subordinate to Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northeast of Jinggangshan City, adjacent to Nashan Township in the East, Suichuan County in the south, Jinggangshan reclamation farm in the west, Qubai township of Yongxin County and eling township of Jinggangshan City in the north. With an area of 63.24 square kilometers, the town governs one community, five administrative villages and 46 villager groups. In late 2018, there were 10 thousand and 300 registered residence population in Xiamen.
By the end of 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Xiaping town.
History of construction
In 1092, guanbeibao was transferred from Taihe County to Yongxin County, which was called guanxi.
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, there was a Li surname who separated from Ximen in Yongxin County and lived in Xiajian village, Guanxi village.
During the Hongwu Period (1368-1398) of the Ming Dynasty, Guanxi was renamed Guanbei; during the Xuande period (1426-1435) of Xuanzong of the Ming Dynasty, the surname Liang was transferred from Shimen village to Daqiao village.
During the period of Jinggangshan revolutionary struggle, Guanbei was a red area, and the township governments of workers, peasants and soldiers were successively established. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, Guanbei was under the jurisdiction of Wenhua township of Yongxin County (65 capitals of Yongxin County).
After the founding of the people's Republic of China, Guanbei belonged to Xiaping Township, Chentang Township, Changpu Township, Shiqian Township, Tiantou Township and Shixi Township in Nashan District of Yongxin County; in 1956, it belonged to Xiaping, kouqianshan, Chentang, Changpu and Fuxing five advanced agricultural communities; in 1958, Xiaping people's commune was established; in 1969, Xiaping commune, Nashan commune and Goubian commune were merged into Nashan commune; in 1972, Nashan commune was divided into Xiaping commune In 1984, Xiaping commune was renamed Xiaping township; in 1993, township was removed and town was established.

Changpu ancient village is located in the southeast of Xiaping Town, 4km away from the new urban area of Jinggangshan City. It is the only way to enter Jinggangshan 5A scenic spot. Built in the late Ming Dynasty, the ancient village is the location of Jinggang red flag, a landmark scenic spot in Jinggang Mountain. The local dwellings are mainly built with Luling style horse head wall, with simple and generous shape and unified style. In 2013, Changpu ancient village was awarded "4A rural tourism spot in Jiangxi Province".
