Lichun town

Lichun Town, belonging to Mudan District of Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwest of Mudan District. It is adjacent to Linpu town of juancheng County in the East, Luling town and Gaozhuang town in the south, caiyuanji town and wushengqiao town of Dongming County in the west, and xichengji town of Puyang County across the Yellow River in the north. The area is 108.27 square kilometers. In 2018, 70569 people registered residence.

In January 1959, it was renamed Gaozhuang commune. In March 1963, Li village commune was set up from Gaozhuang commune. In December 1983, it was rebuilt into Lichun town. In June 2020, 32 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Lichun town.

In 2018, there were 11 industrial enterprises and 136 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Lichun town.

Historical evolution

In 1952, the township was set up under the district.

In December 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into two townships, Li village and Gao Zhuang.

In September 1958, linhuang commune was established by the merger of Li village and Gaozhuang township.

In January 1959, it was renamed Gaozhuang commune.

In March 1963, Li village commune was set up from Gaozhuang commune.

In December 1983, it was rebuilt into Lichun town.

In December 2000, Lizhuang market town was merged into Lichun town.
