Damu Township
Damu Township, subordinate to Fuling District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast edge of Fuling District. It is connected with Shuanghe township of Wulong district and Wulingshan township of Fuling District in the southeast, Baitao street and Jiaoshi town in the west, and Sanba township of Fengdu County in the northeast. It is 57 kilometers away from Fuling District government, with a total area of 80.88 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, Damu township was located in Dongli, Fuzhou, with Damu gorge farm; in October 1953, Damu township was set up in Xiyue township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Da Mu township was 4238. As of June 2020, Damu township has jurisdiction over one community and five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 18, Yingxin community.
The grain crops in Damu township are mainly corn, rice and potato; the animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry; the industry is mainly coal mining and building materials. History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Dongli of Fuzhou, with damuxia farm; in the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Baitao Town, the Second District of Fuzhou.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Yuelai Township, the first district of Fuling county.
At the beginning of 1950, Yuelai township was still established, belonging to the first district of Fuling county.
In October 1953, analytically Yuelai set up Damu township.
In October 1992, Damu township was merged into Quandong township.
In November 1998, juandong township was established as Damu township.
