Buqian town
Buqian Town, subordinate to Yongxin County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north suburb of Yongxin County, adjacent to gaoqiaolou town in the East, heshuihe town and Shiqiao Town in the southeast, Yongxin County in the south, Litian town and Gaoshi town in the west, Lianzhou town in the north and Huaizhong town in the northeast. The town covers an area of 44 square kilometers, with 1296.52 hectares of arable land. It governs one community, 11 administrative villages and 86 village groups. In late 2018, there were 24 thousand registered residence population in the town of port.

Historical evolution

Famous people
Wang daobang (1911-1959) was a native of Lihu ancient town, Buqian town. In 1929, Wang daobang joined the red guards of the peasants and soon became the captain of the red guards. In August 1930, Wang daobang signed up to join the Red Army. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, Wang daobang successively served as the commander of the guard company and political commissar of the regiment of the headquarters of the red five army. During the Anti Japanese War, he served as political commissar of the 1st regiment of the 1st military division of the Shanxi Chahar Hebei military region, political commissar of the 5th detachment, director of the Political Department of the 1st military division, and acting commander of the 9th military division. Liu Fu (1913-1987) was born in Hutian village, Buqian town. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as the monitor of the ninth division of the third Red Army, the Deputy platoon leader of the 29th regiment, the platoon leader of the sixth regiment of the second division, and the hospital administrator of the first Red Army. He participated in the long march. He Guanghua (1916-2001) was born in Buqian town. In 1929, he served in the independent regiment of Southwest Jiangxi. In 1930, he took part in the eighth and ninth attacks on Ji'an. After the war, the southwest Jiangxi independent regiment was incorporated into the third Red Army and served as a soldier in the 27th regiment of the ninth division. Later, he served as a translator, chief of confidential section and chief of confidential section of the headquarters of the fifth Red Army Corps.
