Dingpi Township, subordinate to Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of Ganzhou City and the northwest of Ruijin city. Meijiang river runs through from north to south. The area is 52.44 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 13 thousand and 900 (2018). It has 6 Village Committees (2019). 96% of the villagers are surnamed Chen, as well as Tan, Zou, Huang, Zhou, Liu, Yang and Wen. The snacks include Hakka tea and fish wrapped in potato.

In 1949, Dingpi township was established.
In 1958, it belonged to Ruilin commune.

Dingpi township is located in the northwest of Ruijin City, adjacent to Huangshi town of Ningdu County in the East, Ruilin town of Ruijin City in the south, ge'ao township of Yudu County in the west, Laicun town of Ningdu County in the north, 82 kilometers away from the urban area. The total area is 52.44 square kilometers.

Meijiang river has a natural carp breeding farm of 0.6 km in meihuashi river bed. From Qingming to Guyu every year, the carp of Dajiang River breed here, which plays a certain role in the local economy. It is called "cornucopia". Since the completion of shangchangzhou hydropower station in Ruilin, the river bed in Dingpi has become a reservoir area, which is a good place to develop surface aquaculture.

Dingpi township has five primary schools, including Ruijin Dingpi junior middle school and Ruijin Dingpi Township Central Primary School. The school buildings of five primary schools have been reconstructed several times, and all of them have realized the teaching buildings of steel concrete or brick wood structure. Transportation
Dingpi township has Dingpi Ruilin highway, Dingpi Ningdu Laicun highway and shantan Ningdu Huangshi highway, which together constitute the main traffic road of Dingpi highway. There are 9 village roads. There are three ferries, qingshanbei, Baixi and Huanshi. There are Dingpi reservoir and Shanlong reservoir. The Baixi bridge in Dingpi township is under construction. After the completion of the bridge, the distance from Dingpi to Ruijin city will be shortened by 20 kilometers, and it will directly connect Huangshi and Duifang towns in Ningdu county.

famous scenery
There are more than 10 temples in Dingpi Township, the most prominent of which is Shanlong Qinglian. The temple is located on the hillside of "shengfengdong" in the north of lianhuawan mountain range. Next to it is a rare "Zhuyeqing" tree. Because the leaves are like bamboo leaves, it is called "Zhuyeqing". The leaves are sweet and clear of heat, so it is called "Shencha".
