Baoji town
Baoji Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Pingchuan District, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the center of Pingchuan District, adjacent to Gonghe town in the East, Jingyuan County in the south, Shuiquan town and Wangjiashan town in the West and Jingyuan County in the north, with a total administrative area of 341.93 square kilometers.
In 1983, it was changed into Baoji township; in 1985, after the establishment of Pingchuan District, it was put under the jurisdiction of Pingchuan. In December 2014, Baoji township was renamed Baoji town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Baoji town was 15214. In June 2020, Baoji town governs 12 administrative villages.
The main food crops in Baoji town are wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there were 17 industrial enterprises in Baoji town and 4 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
