Luokou town
Luokou Town, subordinate to Ningdu County, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north of Ningdu County, adjacent to Guangchang county in the East, dongshanba town and Diaofeng Township in the south, Xiaobu town in the west, Xiaotian Township and Dongshao Township in the north, with a total area of 323.2 square kilometers. It governs 13 administrative villages, 1 community and 155 village groups. In 2018, Luokou town had 32 thousand and 700 registered residence population.
Luokou town is an old revolutionary base and the birthplace of Qiu, Lu and Li families of Hakka. There are Qiu's ancestral hall, Qianzhou wangluguang thick temple and other Hakka cultural attractions. The main traffic roads are linning provincial road, fengluo provincial road and Xiexi county road.

Historical evolution
In 1913, Luokou was subordinate to Ningdu County; in January 1934, there were seven districts in Ningdu county and Luokou was subordinate to the Sixth District (Dongshao District); in September 1939, Luokou was subordinate to the town under the new county system; in November 1941, there were six districts, one town and 45 townships in Ningdu county and Luokou was subordinate to the Fifth District (Dongshao District); in 1946, Luokou was subordinate to the Fifth District (Dongshao District) In April 1947, Ningdu county set up one town and 15 townships, and Luokou belonged to Lingyun township.
On August 27, 1949, Ningdu was liberated, the county was divided into seven districts, Luokou was the Sixth District; in October 1958, the county was divided into 13 townships (13 communes), Luokou was set up as Chaoying commune; in November 1961, the county was set up into six districts, 53 communes, Luokou commune belongs to Shishang district; in March 1963, the district level administrative organs were abolished, but in order to strengthen the leadership of the border mountainous areas, Luokou was set up as Chaoying commune Luokou district; in March 1964, Luokou district was abolished; in June 1984, Luokou commune was changed into township; in August 1998, Luokou township was changed into town with the approval of Jiangxi Provincial People's government.

Fengluo provincial highway starts from Fengcheng City, passes Pingxi, Ningdu Dongshao and linchi in Le'an County, and ends at luokouwei. It is 12.85 km from linchi Qiaotou to luokouwei.
