Fuxingwei farm in Jiangsu Province was founded in 1962. It was formerly under the prison bureau of Jiangsu Province, but now under the Jiangsu Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. The farm is located in Jinhu County, Huai'an City, near the lake and river, surrounded by water on three sides. It is composed of Fuxing management area and Huyang management area. The field department is located in Fuxing polder. The total area of the farm is 22300 mu, including 10800 mu of cultivated land, 5000 mu of lake land, 1500 mu of forest land and 480 mu of intensive fish pond. The total population of the farm is 1350, including 500 employees and 402 retired employees. It has jurisdiction over Fuxing management area, Huyang management area, seed company, power supply management service center, agricultural and industrial company, 1 kindergarten and 1 hospital.

Farm overview

The 10800 mu farmland of the farm is distributed in Fuxing management area and Huyang management area. Fuxing management area is located on the Bank of Gaoyou Lake in the east of Jinhu County, with an area of 7600 mu; Huyang management area is located in the east of Jinnan Town, Jinhu County, with an area of 3200 Mu. The natural conditions and agricultural infrastructure of the farm are superior. Ten thousand mu of good farmland is flat, agricultural production is standardized, irrigation and drainage facilities are complete, field operation is mechanized, and farmland roads are cemented. It is not only a base for breeding and production of improved varieties, but also has great potential for developing green agriculture, organic agriculture and modern agriculture. At present, the main agricultural production is rice wheat wheel, with an annual yield of 8 million jin of high-quality wheat varieties and 12 million jin of high-quality rice.
