Yidushui town

Yidushui town is located in the southeast of Xinning County, bordering on Dong'an County and Shaoyang County, about 72 km away from the county. It is located at 110 ° 23 ′～ 111 ° 01 ′ e, 26 ° 32 ′～ 27 ° 02 ′ n. The total area of the town is 243.76 square kilometers, with 34220 mu of cultivated land, including 25400 mu of paddy field and 8820 mu of dry soil. It is one of the four townships in Xinning County. National Highway 207 is the only way for counties and cities in the southwest of Shaoyang area to Yongzhou City and Guangdong and Guangxi. The town government is only 30 kilometers away from Dong'an railway station of Xiang GUI railway, with convenient transportation.

The town governs 35 administrative villages including yidushui, Jintang, Yangli, huishuiwan, Guang'an, Daxing, Changting, Daping, Shujia, Anyang, Lianhua, Shuangtang, arch bridge, Fanjia, sandushui, nongxi, Xicun square, Dayang, Xiangyang, Shilou, Guixiang, Wuxing, Gongan, Duijiang, Chizhu, Guyang, Yantang, Huangshan, Panjia, Yanglong, Baizhu, Shiqiao, Banshi, Guangrong and Gaoqiao , 1 neighborhood committee and 316 villager groups, with a total number of about 34991 (2017).

Historical evolution

Yidushui town belonged to lingyangli of Fuyang Township in Ming Dynasty, BEIXIANG in Qing Dynasty, and pseudo xihou Township before liberation. Yidushui township was established in 1956. When yidushui township was merged with sandushui Township and Duijiang Township in 1995, yidushui township was merged into yidushui township. In 1996, yidushui township was withdrawn to build a town. Longyuan water flows from south to north. In the past, people had to cross the water three times. The town government was the first ferry, so it was named yidushui town.

Construction and development

In 2004, the total output value of industry and agriculture reached 90.8 million yuan. Yifeng knitting factory, Yunzhen candy factory, zhaojiajie pearl jade factory, Chizhu brick factory and sandushui wood processing factory are the leading enterprises in the town, with an annual output value of more than 500000 yuan. The kiwifruit base is located in Shilou village, with a planting area of 500 mu and an annual output of 120 tons. It has built a cold storage with a storage capacity of 200 cubic meters.
