Shangshan town
Shangshan Township, subordinate to Xiushui County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southwest of Xiushui County, with Donggang Township in the East, Longmen town in Pingjiang County, Hunan Province in the south, yuduan Township and Daqiao town in the west, Shiao Township and Zajin town in the north. History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to the 60 capitals and 612 capitals of Renxiang.

In September 1949, it was divided into four townships, namely Shangshan, changni, Siqian and Taizhuang, which were subordinate to Daqiao district (ten districts); in September 1956, it was merged into two townships, namely Shangshan and Taizhuang; in September 1958, the two townships were merged to form Shangshan commune; in March 1960, Shangshan commune was merged into Daqiao commune; in September 1961, Shangshan commune was restored; in June 1964, Taizhuang commune was separated; in September 1968, Shangshan commune was merged into Daqiao commune again In January 1971, it was separated again; in 1984, it was renamed Shangshan township.
