Luolong Town, subordinate to Daozhen County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northeast of Daozhen county. Zhongxin town in the south, Hekou Township and Yangxi town in the west, and Wulong District of Chongqing city from north to East. It is located in Luolong (formerly known as dingshiba), with a total area of 226.36 square kilometers and 1945 hectares of cultivated land. It has jurisdiction over 4 offices, 23 villages and 182 villager groups.

Luolong town is located in the northeast of Daozhen Gelao and Miao Autonomous County, adjacent to Haokou town of Wulong County in the East, Zhongxin town in the south, Lingxiao and Yangba in the west, and Huangying township of Wulong in the north. It is 54 kilometers away from Daozhen Autonomous County and 47 kilometers away from Wulong County of Chongqing. Daowu highway runs through it, with convenient transportation, known as "qianshumenping" and "Beimen fortress", It is one of the window towns connecting Guizhou with Chongqing. The total area is 226.3 square kilometers, accounting for 10.5% of the total area of the county. It is one of the 100 pilot towns of small town construction in the whole province, the civilized villages and towns in the whole province and the 35 strong towns in Zunyi City.

Proportion of population
In 2007, there were 5462 households in the town, including 5104 rural households and 358 non-agricultural households, with a total population of 19896, accounting for 18.13% of the total population of the county. Non agricultural population accounts for 10% of the total population. There are four ethnic groups, Han, Gelao, Miao, Tujia and Yi. The Han population accounts for 25% of the total population, the Gelao population accounts for 27%, the Miao population accounts for 30%, the Tujia population accounts for 16%, and other ethnic groups account for 2%.
Geographical resources
Luolong town is dominated by middle mountain, which is a typical karst landform. The highest point is 1964 meters above sea level, and the lowest point is 530 meters above sea level, with a relative elevation difference of 1434 meters. It belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate. The average temperature of the town is 22 ℃, the frost free period is more than 240 days, and the annual average precipitation is 1170 mm.
Luolong town is rich in natural resources. According to the land change survey of the County Bureau of land and resources in 2005, the total land area of the town is 22867 hectares. The proportion of forest land is the largest, followed by cultivated land. In the total area, cultivated land accounted for 24.2%, garden land accounted for 0.9%, forest land accounted for 46.7%, urban construction accounted for 0.1%, traffic land accounted for 2.3%, water area accounted for 2.2%, unused land accounted for 23.6%.
Water resources are abundant. Luolong River (also known as Huaxi) originates from Dongliu River in Datang Village, with a drainage area of 254 square kilometers and a river length of 26.1 kilometers. It flows through five villages (communities) in the town, namely Datang, Yingzui, Luolong, dingshiba and Longqiao, with a flow length of 13 kilometers. It originates from the tributaries of lanxiangou in yanxiaojing, liujingba and xiejiaba of Wuyi village, with a drainage area of 31 square kilometers and a river length of 6.5 kilometers. It flows through 18 villager groups in two areas of Wuyi village and Shuanghe, and joins Luolong river at guantianba of dingshiba community. The mineral resources have been preliminarily identified, including iron in metal mine, pyrite and pyrite in non-metal mine, limestone, silica, refractory clay, asbestos and calcite in building material mine, and coal in energy mine.
Tourism resources are particularly rich, including natural scenery resources, agricultural sightseeing, cultural relics and ethnic customs. Mopanshan scenic spot, Guanyinyan, niujiaozhai, dongliuhe, Datang border trade ethnic tourism village, etc. are ideal scenic resources. Guanyinyan, built in Yuan Dynasty, is an earlier temple building in the county. Niujiaozhai, built in the Qing Dynasty, is rich in natural resources. It has tens of thousands of mu of original forest belt, tens of thousands of mu of bamboo shoots, Mopan Mountain 1900 meters above sea level, winding cascade hydropower stations, Liuhe river with "people roaring, water rising by a foot", niujiaozhai karst cave like fairyland, Dacang cave like the top of the Great Hall of the people, Guanyinyan and other tourist attractions for nearly a thousand years.
Administrative planning
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Luolong town is now under the jurisdiction of xiaoxili. In the 30th year of the Republic of China (July 1941), Daozhen county was re divided into three districts with 19 joint guarantees. Now Luolong town belongs to the Second District, and the district office is located in dingshiba. In September 1950, the people's Government of Daozhen County divided the whole county into seven districts. The people's Government of the Fifth District is located in dingshiba, which governs Luolong Township and LingXiao township. In May 1955, the Fifth District was renamed In March 1963, the administrative division of Luolong District was adjusted, and 24 communes were changed into 1 town and 42 communes. Luolong District governs Luolong, Lingxiao, Zengjiang, Datang, liberty and equality communes. On May 8, 1981, with the approval of the provincial people's government, 7 communes were added, including Datian commune. Luolong District governs Luolong, Lingxiao, Zengjiang, Datang, Yangba, Yangxi and Hekou communes.
In August 1992, seven districts, one town and 49 townships in the county were abolished and 10 towns and 4 townships were newly built by building towns, merging townships and withdrawing districts. Seven townships of Luolong District, including Luolong, Lingxiao, Zengjiang, Datang, Yangba, Yangxi and Hekou, were abolished, and Luolong town was merged, with 23 villages and one neighborhood committee under its jurisdiction. Meanwhile, four townships, including Lingxiao, Yangba, Yangxi and Hekou, were designated. The people's Government of Luolong was stationed in Luolong. The former office building of Luolong District was the party and government office building of Luolong Town, and it was moved to guantianba new office building in June 2001.
In September 1993, according to the decision of the county Party committee and the county people's Government on strengthening the construction of rural grassroots organizations and setting up district offices in villages and towns, Luolong town set up Luolong, Datang, Zengjiang and Longqiao offices respectively in three townships under the former administration of Luolong District and Longqiao Township under the former administration of Zhongxin. In February 2004, with the approval of the county people's government, four offices in Luolong town were cancelled, and the original 23 villages and Luolong tea farm were merged to establish six villages, namely Longqiao, Luolong, Sanyuan, Wuyi, Datang and Yingzui, and two communities, namely dingshiba and tea farm, with a total of 175 villager groups and 11 resident groups.
Luolong economy
Since the establishment of Luolong town in 1992, it has gone through three five-year plan periods of "the Eighth Five Year Plan", "the Ninth Five Year Plan" and "the Tenth Five Year Plan" for national economic and social development. Under the leadership of the CPC Daozhen Autonomous County Committee and the county people's Government, the town Party committee and the town people's government hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", adhere to economic construction as the center, and lead the people of all ethnic groups in the town Starting from the situation of Luolong Town, aiming at getting rid of poverty and getting rich, striving for a well-off life and building a strong economic town, the people have formulated the development idea of "relying on Daozhen, Zunyi, Guiyang, connecting with Wulong, Chongqing and Yangtze River, giving full play to the advantages of inter provincial border, developing national border trade economy, and building Luolong into a strong economic town of inter provincial surrounding areas". It has implemented the development strategy of "town center blooming, Daowu highway connection, Datang boundary breakthrough", which has promoted the harmonious development of material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization of the whole town.
In 2007, the town's total agricultural output value (current price) was 61 million yuan, accounting for 7.8% of the county's total agricultural output value. The fiscal revenue was 5.565 million yuan, and the fiscal expenditure was 5.414 million yuan, 4.2 times and 6.3 times higher than that in 1993, with an average increase of 30% and 45% respectively. The per capita net income of farmers increased from 1650 yuan in 2000 to 2000 yuan in 2007, higher than 1680 yuan in the county. Luolong town credit cooperatives, postal deposits balance 62.66 million yuan, an increase of nearly 26 times compared with 1993; loan balance reached 16.55 million yuan, an increase of nearly 13 times.
Agriculture has maintained a rapid growth rate, the rural industrial structure has been constantly adjusted, and the industrialization process has been significantly accelerated. While stabilizing grain production, pillar industries such as tobacco and animal husbandry will be further consolidated and improved, and characteristic industries such as Radix Scrophulariae and garlic will develop rapidly, becoming another important pillar industry. The total grain output was stable at about 12000 tons. The output of flue-cured tobacco increased from 1550 tons in 1993 to 1950 tons in 2007, an increase of 1.26 times. The rapid development of animal husbandry, through the improvement of varieties, the establishment of bases, the implementation of large-scale breeding, the development of large farmers and other ways to vigorously develop animal husbandry. The number of live pigs raised increased from 13000 in 1993 to 18000 in 2007, with an average of 4.5 in rural households and 216 large farmers. The number of live pigs sold increased from 8000 in 1993 to 14000 in 2007, an increase of 43%. The number of large cattle raised increased from 6500 in 1993 to 19360 in 2007, an increase of 67%.
Forestry has been carried out smoothly. Through the joint financing of the state, departments and the masses, the construction of project forests, the implementation of artificial and aerial seeding afforestation, the closing of mountains for afforestation, and the conversion of farmland to forests have accelerated the development of forestry. From 1993 to 2005, a total of 1000 hectares of afforestation and 21000 cubic meters of commercial timber were harvested and sold. In 2007, there were 13 township enterprises in the town, 1.4 times more than in 1993, with 2000 employees, 56 million yuan of enterprise output value, 12.5 times more than in 1993, and 1.2 million yuan of taxes, 47.2 times more than in 1993.
With the reform of Commerce, supply and marketing and grain circulation system, the individual and private economy has entered the fast lane of commercial development, and commercial trade has been unprecedentedly prosperous. In 2007, there were more than 200 private and self-employed businesses in the town, and the average monthly retail sales reached more than 1.94 million yuan. In 2000, Luolong town was listed as one of the 100 pilot towns in the province.
Infrastructure is developing rapidly.
