Minshan Township
Minshan township is a township under the jurisdiction of Chaisang District, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Located in the southwest of Chaisang District, it is a big Township merged by the former huanglaomen and Minshan townships in early 2002. It is 15 kilometers away from Chaisang City, with Lushan Mountain in the East, Shizi town and Shahe economic and Technological Development Zone in the north, mahuiling town and Linquan township of De'an County in the southwest, covering an area of 112.7 square kilometers.
Under the jurisdiction of Wenqiao, democracy, Xiaoyang, Jinpan, Minshan, sunjialong, Huapan, Hongfeng, Tuanshan, dongzhuling, Datang, Chunhua, Hongguang, Qinggang, Fenshui and other 15 administrative villages, 171 villager groups, a total of 7069 households, 29900 people.
Historical evolution
It is named after Minshan. In 1950, it belonged to Yuhe, Xiaoyang, Huapan and other townships in the Sixth District. Minshan reclamation farm was built in 1958, Minshan commune was changed in 1968, and township was changed in May 1984. In 1997, it covers an area of 47 square kilometers and has a population of 9000. It governs eight administrative villages, namely Wenqiao, Minzhu, Xiaoyang, Jinpan, Minshan, sunjialong, Huapan and xizhuling. The township government is located in tanganpu, 18 kilometers away from the county seat. In early 2002, the original Minshan township was merged into huanglaomen township. Considering that Minshan is an old revolutionary base area, the name of the township was retained, and the name of "huanglaomen township" was abandoned. The township government was stationed in huanglaomen.
Attachment: huanglaomen township is located in the south of Chaisang. Beijing Kowloon Railway and Changjiu Expressway pass through the territory, and Jiujiang Lushan airport is located in the territory. In 1950, it belonged to Tuanshan, huanglaomen, Tongkou and other townships. In 1958, it was changed to mahuiling commune. In 1960, it was established as huanglaomen commune. In 1984, it was restored to huanglaomen township. In 1997, it covers an area of 65.9 square kilometers and has a population of 18000. It governs 10 administrative villages including Hongfeng, Tongtian, Tuanshan, dongzhuling, Datang, Chunhua, Hongguang, Qinggang, Zhongling and Fenshui. The township government is located in huanglaomen, 14 kilometers away from the county. On January 11, 2002, Minshan township was incorporated into the city. The name of "huanglaomen township" was abandoned and Minshan Township continued to be used in the new name.

Revolutionary history
Minshan township has a long history and outstanding people. It is the hometown of Tao Yuanming, the great pastoral poet of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and also the birthplace of the second domestic revolutionary war and the northern Jiangxi guerrillas during the Anti Japanese war. The old generation of proletarian revolutionaries Peng Dehuai, marshal Nie Rongzhen and General Xiao Ke left their footprints on this land. In the hard environment of more than ten years, the workers' and peasants' red army fought bravely with the masses of the people, and wrote a lamentable chapter. More than 300 recorded martyrs died for the revolution and made great contributions to the cause of China's revolution. They were listed as old revolutionary areas by the provincial government.
