Hongyuan town is under the jurisdiction of Fuliang County, Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the western suburb of Jingdezhen, the capital of porcelain. It is at the southwest end of Fuliang County, adjacent to the ceramic science and Technology Park in the East, Lvmeng Township and Liyang Township in Changjiang District in the South and southwest, jinpanling Township and jiantianjie Township in Poyang County in the west, and Sanlong town in the north. As of May 2007, the town has a population of about 23000, 36 party branches and 757 party members. It has 13 village committees, 3 branches, 1 neighborhood committee, 69 natural villages and 74 villager groups. The total area of the town is 79.8 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 24000 mu. The town government is located in the Golden Triangle logistics park, 8 kilometers away from the county seat and only 4 kilometers away from the city center.
Historical evolution
According to historical records, Hongyuan town belonged to anxixiang, yubudu and xingzuo in Kangxi period of Qing Dynasty. At the beginning of the Republic of China, it belonged to Sanlong Township, the Fourth District of Fuliang County. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, the township system remained unchanged. In 1952, it belonged to Hongyuan Township and Xima Township, the fourth district respectively. All the townships formed primary communes. In 1956, it became four high-level communes, namely Xima, Hongyuan, Mingshan and Gaofeng. Gaofeng people's commune was established in 1958. In 1959, it belonged to the state-owned Luojia reclamation farm. In 1963, it belonged to Luojia people's commune. In 1964, it became Hongyuan The commune was established in Jiaotan District in 1984 and changed to Fuliang County in 1989. In August 1995, with the approval of the Ministry of civil affairs of the people's Republic of China, the commune moved from township to town, which is called Hongyuan town.
natural environment
Hongyuan is located in the hilly area of the remaining vein of Huangshan Mountain. The terrain is relatively high in the northwest, flat in the East and slightly low in the southwest. The geology is mostly red loam and sandy clay, and the land is fertile. The southeast is mostly farmland. There are two main water systems in the territory: one is a tributary of Xihe River, which flows from Sanlong to Changjiang River through luojiatan; the other is Xichong stream, which flows through Xima, laohongyuan, Guihua and Mingshan to Changjiang River. The natural conditions of the town are good, with four distinct seasons. The frost free period is 289 days, the annual accumulated temperature is 6238 ℃, the average temperature is between 17.3 ℃ and 18.8 ℃, and the rainfall reaches 1948 mm.
Traffic geography
Hongyuan has superior geographical conditions and convenient transportation. There are No.4 buses in the urban area directly connecting to the town. S304 Township Road, 206 National Road, Jinghu highway (Provincial Road) and Jiujing Expressway meet in the center of the town. Luojia Airport (national second-class Airport) in Jingdezhen is also within the scope of the town. There are more than 60 kinds of shuttle buses stopping through the town every day, with an annual passenger volume of more than 2 million people and an annual freight volume of 150 million tons Jingdezhen is a transportation hub in the northeast of Jiangxi Province.

In order to solve the problem of drinking water for the masses in Xima village, in 2007, the town raised funds through multiple channels and mobilized the masses to join in the joint construction. Two sets of 120 ton water supply facilities were built, and the villagers were equipped with tap water. The villagers in Xima village have been able to get water from the stream half a mile back and forth with their hands on their shoulders. At the same time, in order to change the dirty, chaotic and poor situation of Hongyuan Street reflected by the people, the town took the efforts of the whole town to reconstruct the old street. The people responded positively and took the initiative to work. Through the concerted efforts of the whole town, the 1.2km street reconstruction project was completed. By the end of 2007, street lamps, flower beds and drainage facilities had been set up in Hongyuan street, with spacious roads, beautiful streets and good order.
The town has sufficient power supply and belongs to the special line power supply network in Northeast Jiangxi. With the development of communication, there is a telecom terminal office with unlimited capacity. By 2008, China Mobile and China Unicom have achieved seamless coverage.

Hongyuan town has a long history of agriculture. It is one of the important supply bases of commodity grain and vegetables, fresh, live, special and agricultural products in Jingdezhen area. It can provide more than 6 million jin of commodity grain and 4 million jin of commodity vegetables every year. Since the 21st century, the town has been carrying out traditional agriculture, increasing farmers' income, adjusting the agricultural industrial structure closely around the city's "fresh, live, special and beautiful" products, increasing agricultural investment, and actively introducing mature agricultural talents from other provinces, cities and counties. By 2007, it has initially formed the agricultural intensification, scale, marketization and characteristics. Hongyuan town has a good industrial foundation. By the end of 2008, the total financial income of the town was 26.65 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4800 yuan.
