Luxia town

Luxia town is located in the upper reaches of Minjiang River, bordering Taiping Town in the East, Xiadao town in the west, taqian town in the northwest and Youxi County in the south.

In 2006, the town's GDP was 346 million yuan, including 83.7 million yuan of industrial output value, 217 million yuan of agricultural output value, 3.98 million yuan of fiscal revenue and 5155 yuan of per capita net income of farmers.

In 2017, the administrative area was 8970 hectares, with a permanent population of 13059.

Luxia town is located in the upper reaches of Minjiang River, bordering Taiping Town in the East, Xiadao town in the west, taqian town in the northwest and Youxi County in the south. It covers an area of 89.8 square kilometers.

Water and land transportation is convenient. National Highway 316 passes through (12.8 km in Luxia town). The market town is 22 km away from Nanping City, 148 km away from Fuzhou, 23 km away from the entrance of Jingfu expressway, and 5 km away from Minjiang 500 ton shipping terminal.

It is rich in resources. The timber volume is 48 cubic meters, and there are abundant granite and other mineral resources, with dense forests.

historical figure

It has a long history and outstanding people. Li Dong, one of the four sages of Yanping, a famous Confucianist in Song Dynasty, was the master of Luxia (Zhu Xi's mentor). Pottery pieces of Shang Dynasty were found in nine places, such as lushuiwei and wakou. The oldest temple in Yanping District, Linchong temple, was built in 849 A.D., and the Taoist Sanqing palace in Liang Dynasty.

investment environment

The investment environment is superior. Water, electricity, road, flood and other infrastructure facilities are perfect, with a 500 ton cargo terminal built, 35kw power transmission and transformation switch station has been put into use; every village is connected with cement road, with a total length of 28km; it enjoys preferential policies for the Sustainable Development Experimental Zone of Shuikou Reservoir Area in Fujian Province.

Since 2003, Luxia town has vigorously implemented the strategy of "revitalizing the town by industry". The industrial platform of Luxia town is planned to cover an area of 3 square kilometers, with 750 mu of developed land and 16 projects in the park, with a total investment of 200 million yuan and 430 mu of land.
