Chuping Township
Chuping township is a township under the jurisdiction of Zherong County, Ningde City, Fujian Province. It is located in the west of Zherong County, bordering suburban and Dongyuan townships in the East, Shangbaishi town in Fu'an in the west, Fuxi and Huangbai townships in the south, Yingshan Township in the north, and 10km away from the County.
It covers an area of 50.35 square kilometers and governs 15 administrative villages. Township People's Government in Chuping village, 620 meters above sea level, 10 kilometers away from the county.

Historical evolution
In 1934, during the Soviet period in xiadingtai County, the Soviet governments of five townships including Chuping, hongkeng, sheping, Shixian and Wanli, and 15 villages including Yangbian, Xianling, houlou, Wandou, Liuping, lujiazhuang, sujiayang, xujialing, Wutou, Kengtou, pengjiashan, xialianyang, xiujiazhai, heshangyang and zhengjiayang were established. During the low tide of the revolution, the Kuomintang restored its rule in Zherong. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, Chuping township was set up. In the 26th year of the Republic of China, it merged with Liuping Township and sheping township to form Sanping township. In the 29th year of the Republic of China, Sanping Township and yingdoukeng Township were merged into Yingping township. In December of the 33rd year of the Republic of China, it was renamed Kangping township. The township joint insurance office and Township Office are located in Chuping village.
At the beginning of the founding of new China, the county people's government designated Kangping Township and Shuangcheng Town as the third district (the district office is located in Shixian Village). When the old Baojia system was abolished, Chuping township was changed to Chuping township. At the end of 1955, the third district office moved from Shixian to Chuping village, which was renamed Chuping district. Chuping people's commune, which was established after October 1958, either belonged to the county or the district. In October 1984, the people's commune was abolished, the township system was restored, and it was designated as a county township.
infrastructure
The township is located in a long and narrow valley with overlapping mountains. In the early days, the Wei family lived here. Later, the Lin, Jiang and Kong families moved in one after another. More than 100 families and old and new houses were built along the mountain. Bamboo forests and tea gardens are distributed on the mountain. The old road in front of the gate is winding. After Fuwen highway passes through the village, supply and marketing stores, grain stations, health centers, tea stations, individual shops and farmers' markets have been built on both sides of Chuping section of the highway through overall planning. By 1990, the total construction area of the village was 34400 square meters, and the per capita living area at the end of the year was 12.49 square meters. It is the political, economic and cultural center of the township.
