Limen Township
Limen Township, belonging to Zhouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the southwest of Zhouning County, adjacent to Xiancun Town in the southeast, Jiaocheng District in the south, Zhenghe County and Pingnan County in the west, and Lidun town in the north. Its total area is 134 square kilometers. In late 2018, 15351 households registered residence in RM.
In the early Qing Dynasty, Zhangyuan Wei Yanzhong imperial examination Jinshi Zhongbang went to pay homage to his ancestors, taking the meaning of "Li men Yi Lu" as the name of Li men. In January 1959, it was incorporated into Lidun commune. In August 1961, Li Dun set up limen commune. In March 1963, it was incorporated into Lidun district again. In August 1966, limen commune was reestablished. In April 1984, Li men township was established. As of June 2020, limen township has a total of 17 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 34 industrial enterprises in limen Township, including one above scale and three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
From the Song Dynasty to the early Ming Dynasty, it belonged to the 18 capitals of dongyangli, Qingtian Township, Ningde county.
In 1933, it was under the jurisdiction of the Fifth District of Ningde county.
In 1940, the township was established.
In 1942, it belonged to Xishe Township and was under the jurisdiction of zhoudun special district.
In 1945, it was under the jurisdiction of Zhouning county.
In April 1950, the second district was set up.
In September 1955, it was incorporated into Lidun district.
In August 1958, Gongchuan Township, Qiulou Township and Shoudong Township were established (all renamed commune in September).
In January 1959, it was incorporated into Lidun commune.
In August 1961, Li Dun set up limen commune.
In March 1963, it was incorporated into Lidun district again.
In August 1966, limen commune was reestablished.
In April 1984, Li men township was established.

The highest point is the main peak of Tianping mountain, 1403 meters above sea level; the lowest point is Houlong village in the south, 185 meters above sea level.

Limen Township belongs to Huotong River Basin. Houlong river is the largest river in the territory. It is one of the largest tributaries in the upstream of Huotong river. It is also the boundary river of Pingnan, Zhenghe and Zhouning counties, with a total length of 53.3 km, a drainage area of 227.5 square kilometers and an average annual flow of 9 m3 / s. The main tributaries are Qinxi and Wudong river.
