Panyang Township, belonging to Gutian County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the central and southern part of the county. It is adjacent to Daqiao in the East, Songji in the west, Minqing in the south, and Cuiping Lake in the north. Township site Pan Yang village, 20 km away from the county. The terrain of Panyang township is mainly low and middle mountain, some of which are low and middle mountain landforms. The general elevation is about 850-1100 meters, and the highest elevation in the area is 1487 meters (Gaogang grassland).

The terrain of Panyang and Fengzhu village, where the township government is located, is relatively flat, and other administrative villages are mostly distributed in the mountain depressions or mountain valley terraces.

Panyang township is located in the outskirts of the county, running through the whole Township, 26 km long Xin (Hua) Shang (Ping) highway, outside the Ning (DE) Gu (Tian) line, Beijing Taiwan expressway transit. There are three villages in Panyang Township, Xinhua, Jianxing and Panyang, which are connected with asphalt road. The cement road 8 km from Panyang to Fengzhu was put into use in 2005, and Houshan Village cement was put into use at the end of 2006.

Gaogang grassland

Gaogang grassland is located in Zhongzhi village of Panyang Township, with an altitude of 1487 meters and a total area of more than 3000 mu. It is one of the rare alpine grasslands in South China.
