Xuanhe Township
Xuan he Township, Liancheng County, Longyan City, Fujian Province, is located in the western part of Liancheng County. The area is 100.80 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 14917 (2018). China has 13 administrative villages (2019), among which the Putian village is listed as a traditional Chinese village. Hakka Shifan music in West Fujian is one of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritages. Xuanhe snow potato is a national geographical indication of agricultural products.

Historical evolution
Xuanhe, called Heyuan in Song Dynasty, belongs to Shangli of Heyuan in Tingzhou. It was changed to Xuanhe in Qing Dynasty.
In 1943, it was the joint protection of Xuanhe River in the Ninth District of Changting.
In 1945, Xuanhe township was changed into Xuanhe township.
After the founding of new China, Xuanhe township was under the jurisdiction of the 15th District of Changting.
In 1953, it was changed to Xuanhe district.
In 1956, it was transferred to Liancheng to establish Xuanhe Township, belonging to pengkou district.
In 1962, Xuanhe commune was established.
In 1984, it was renamed Xuanhe township.

Rice is the main crop in Xuanhe Township, developing tea, green seedlings, flowers, rice, flue-cured tobacco, snow potato, Heyuan chicken, Fujian Yellow Rabbit and other characteristic industries. Among the selenium rich agricultural products, the quality of Xuanhe flue-cured tobacco is in the forefront of Liancheng County, and the more famous specialties are Xuanhe green tea and Heyuan chicken. Xuanhe xueshu was awarded the national geographic indication product.

There are 319 National Road and Ganlong railway double crossing across the border in the township, and 661 counties run through the whole territory. The Liancheng Wenheng Expressway to Changting Hetian expressway has an entrance and exit between the mainland and the * *. It has built up Wensheng Road, which is about 9 km from the port of the Wu highway and about 10 km from the Kung Chi Shan mobile station, about 30 km away from Guan Zai Shan airport.
History and culture
Residential complex
During the Ming, Qing and Republic of China, 21 ancestral temples and more than 30 Huatang buildings were built successively in Peitian village, Xuanhe township. Among them, two "nine halls and eighteen wells" and "Nanshan academy" can be regarded as the best preserved architectural works of Ming and Qing Dynasties in the history of Chinese architecture. Peitian ancient dwellings, with exquisite construction techniques, are a collection of architectural patterns and styles from Beijing, Anhui, Guangdong, Jiangxi and Fujian. In addition, a large number of couplets and plaques were preserved in Peitian ancient people's residence, among which there are many masterpieces of celebrities. For example, Ji Xiaolan, a Bachelor of the Qing Dynasty, inscribed a plaque for Peitian Academy: "famous in boshui"; Pei Yingzhang, Minister of the Ministry of war of the Ming Dynasty, presented a couplet after inspecting Peitian: "although it is a hundred miles away from the city of Ting, it is the first one to enter the wall of Confucius gate".
Enter (welcome) Gongtai
Entering (welcoming) Gongtai is one of the characteristics of Xuanhe folk custom. "Yougongtai" originated from the Ming Dynasty. It is a Hakka folk custom event spread in Liancheng and Changting area of Western Fujian. It is held in 13 areas of Liancheng and Changting area of Western Fujian, once every 13 years. Every family burns incense and guns, praying for good weather and peace of the country. There are folk activities such as yougongtai, youhuadeng, youchuandeng, youdalong, etc.
Hakka Shifan music in West Fujian
Hakka Shifan music in Western Fujian has many different titles, such as "Hakka Shihuan", "Da Shiban", "Da wudui", "Shi Yangjing", "Ji Huan". The so-called "Shifan" means that the band often plays ten musical instruments, including erhu, Diaogui, Sanxian, Yangqin, pipa, bamboo flute, clapper, xiaotanggu, Xiaogong, xiaocymbal and other percussion instruments, with about ten performers (in informal and non-specific activities, the number of performers will increase or decrease). It is the folk music of Hakka in West Fujian and one of the most important representative projects in traditional literature and art. Hakka Shifan music in Western Fujian was listed as the first batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage representative works by Fujian Provincial People's Government in October 2005 and the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council in May 2006.
Major events
In the early period of the Republic of China, Wu Jiande studied in Japan to take part in the revolutionary activities led by Sun Yat Sen, actively fighting yuan against imperialism; later, Wu xuchu, Wu Shujun, Wu naiqing (Wu Jianxin) and Premier Zhou worked in France to study and work together, seeking the road of enriching the country and strengthening the gang. During the war of liberation, Xuanhe also established the seventh independent regiment of the West Fujian volunteer army of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, headed by Cao Hui, and made contributions to the liberation of Yong'an and Liancheng.
