Main streets
(1) Xiayang Street
It is the main market street in longjuan Township, formed in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. It was just a street about 120 meters long. In 1927, a new police station was built. There were no other public facilities until liberation. After liberation, the township government used the police station to work, and used a civilian house to transform and use. With the establishment of local grass-roots political power and the establishment of township organs, enterprises and institutions, since 1958, finance, posts and telecommunications, industrial and commercial offices, tax offices, tea stations, supply and marketing cooperatives and other units have been gradually built along the street, making Xiayang street have a certain scale. Especially after 1978, the rural economy became more active and the streets changed greatly. From Shanqian bridge to Xiayang bridge, shops were built on both sides of the road by the masses. The old shops were basically demolished, and the streets were extended from 120 meters to 1200 meters. From 1984 to 1990, the slate pavement was first laid on the clay pavement, and then it was changed to cement pavement. In 1995, with the construction of business buildings in the streets of longjuan post and Telecommunications Branch, a 300 meter long and 18 meter wide Houyang street was opened downstream, with cement pavement, buildings on both sides and shops on the first floor. As longjuan is a town on the border of Anxi County, it has frequent commodity transactions with neighboring counties such as Hua'an, Changtai and Zhangzhou. With the development of edible fungi, tea and local specialties such as longjuan wine, longjuan red wine, longjuan pickled vegetables, Fuchang porcelain mat, Fudu VAT and Sanxiang Tieding, the market is relatively prosperous.
(2) Juxi Street
It is also called juxiwei. It is located in the center of Juxi Village (including Juxi, Juyuan and Anmei). The market was formed in the late Qing Dynasty. The small flat houses built along the stream of houlou form the street, so it is also called Houjie. In 1931, Kuo Zong, the bandit leader of the people's army, occupied Juxi, and forced the construction of Juxi street. A 130 meter long and 11 meter wide street was planned. The road was paved with concrete, with two-story civil buildings on both sides and 60 shops. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, on May 27, 1952, Juxi was hit by a huge flood, the shops collapsed, and the polder city became an abandoned polder. In 1956, longjuan supply and Marketing Co., Ltd. also built its business place here. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the living standards of farmers were relatively improved. Two thirds of the farmers converted the shops along the street into three to five storey reinforced concrete buildings, and the streets were paved with cement. In 1992, the township government hired the County Construction Bureau to carry out market planning and expand juxiwei. From the end of juxiwei in the East, it connects Banwei market along the direction of Juyuan, from the head of juxiweitou in the south, it connects zhutianwei street market along the direction of Juxi, and from the head of Weitou in the northwest
