Dameng Village

Dameng village, belonging to Neiqiu County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Neiqiu County, bordering Guanzhuang town in the East, Xindu District in the southwest, Liulin town in the northwest, Neiqiu town in the north, and Jindian town in the northeast. It is 9.6km away from the people's Government of Neiqiu County, with a total area of 76.5km2.

In June 1956, Fengcun township was established; in 1985, Fengcun township was changed into Dameng town. By the end of 2018, the population of registered residence in Tai Meng Village was 36011. As of June 2020, Dameng town has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 19 industrial enterprises in Dameng village and town, including 3 above scale enterprises and 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In June 1956, Fengcun township was established.

In 1958, it belonged to Chengguan commune.

In 1960, Jianfeng village commune was separated from Chengguan commune.

In 1984, it was changed from Fengcun commune to Fengcun township.

In 1985, it was changed from Fengcun township to Dameng town.
