Yufang Township
Yufang Township belongs to Jiangle County, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It is located in the north of the county. Yufang village, where the township government is located, is 55 kilometers away from the county. Fu Yin Expressway and provincial highway Jintai line cross the territory. In 2005, the township had 9 village committees, 1 improved seed farm and 67 villager groups, with 9637 people in 2591 households.
The terrain in the territory is higher in the southeast and lower in the northwest. There are Baotai mountain in the west, Nanhua mountain and Jiufeng Mountain in the south, and Baofeng mountain in the north, with an altitude of more than 1000 meters. The main streams, Yufang and Zhangkeng, flow into Taining County and into Jinxi. The average annual temperature of the township is 17.2 ℃, the frost free period is 282 days, and the average annual precipitation is 1701 mm. It has jurisdiction over nine village committees: Longxing, Yufang, Masi, GUAXI, zhoucuo, Yuyuan, Yangyuan, Zhangdu and zhulingtou.
In 2017, the administrative area of Yufang township was 13629 hectares, with 4884 permanent residents.
Evolution of organizational system
During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, there were some villages in Longxing, Zhangyuan and Longji. In the early period of the Republic of China, the system of Qing Dynasty was followed. In 1934, longxingbao was set up, which is under the jurisdiction of the third district office. In the 28th year of the Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of 8 baos. In May of the 30th year of the Republic of China, it was changed to Longxing Township, which was under the jurisdiction of 9 baos. Masi and Zhangdu townships were added. In August 1952, Wan'an commune. In October 1961, Yufang commune was established, which has jurisdiction over 12 brigades. In 1966, it had eight brigades under its jurisdiction. In 1970, it had nine brigades under its jurisdiction. In September 1984, Yufang township was restructured. In 1990, it had jurisdiction over 9 villagers' committees and 69 villagers' groups.

The township has 17800 mu of arable land, including 16800 mu of paddy field; 120300 mu of forest land, including 114900 mu of woodland, with 77.2% forest coverage, 382600 cubic meters of forest stock and 3904500 bamboo. The volume of timber forest in zhoucuo, Zhangdu and Masi villages is more than 100000 cubic meters, and that in Yufang and Longxing villages is more than 500 mu. There are gold, quartzite, potash feldspar, mica and so on. The elevation of Baotai mountain, Nanhua mountain, Jiufeng Mountain and Baofeng mountain is more than 1000 meters. In the Neolithic age, there were human activities in the territory, and there were three sites in Yufang and Longxing villages. In the Western Han Dynasty, the king of Fujian and Yue built a pavilion in Baizhang mountain. Baizhang mountain, tailing peak, Baotai peak, youyunyan, Shiyan cave and other places have beautiful scenery.

After 1991, the township tobacco station, township government office building, finance office, water conservancy work station, agricultural technology station, credit union, land office, police station, post and telecommunications office, power supply office and other public buildings were built one after another. Yufang, zhoucuo and other villages built new village departments. In 1992, Zhangdu village built a new village with 58 new houses. In zhangdukeng village, 26 households moved to Hengxi village. In 1993, Yufang village developed and constructed Qiaonan new village with 26 new houses. In 1996, the road from yufangkou to yufangcun was paved with 3 km asphalt road. In the same year, a water plant with a daily output of 890 tons was built, which can serve 3600 people. In 1997, Longxing village planned to build a new village with 89 new houses. In 1999, Yangyuan village planned to build a new village with 23 new houses.
In 2001, the transformation of rural power grid was completed, and the electricity for production and living was used at the same price in urban and rural areas, and 100% of natural villages were supplied with electricity. In 2002, Yufang village developed and constructed xiadanqian new village with 16 new houses. In 2003, the construction of 2.72 km road surface of zhulingtou section of Fuzhou Yinchuan expressway was started, and it was completed and opened to traffic in December 2005. In 2004, a total of 37.4 kilometers of cement roads from Yufang village to Longxing, masikou, Zhangdu, Yuyuan, GUAXI, zhoucuo and other villages were paved, realizing the connection of cement roads to every village. In 2005, the total mileage of highways in the township was 37.4 kilometers, and the built-up area of the township was 15.2 hectares. In the past 15 years, a total of 1800 new houses have been built in the township, with a construction area of 434000 square meters. The per capita housing area of the township is 44.6 square meters. Tap water facilities were further improved, and 90% of the population in the township drank tap water.

In 1991, the total agricultural output value of the township was 24.74 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 1026 yuan. Grain crops and cash crops are planted on 31823 Mu and 10412 Mu respectively. After that, we adjusted the planting structure of agricultural industry, promoted the planting of tobacco, vegetables, edible fungi, watermelon, peanuts, corn, etc., mainly planted Huanghua pear on the hillside, and planted a small amount of Qingnai, juicy peach, chestnut, etc. In 1992, the seed industry was developed. The main varieties were Shanyou 63, d you 63, d you 155, etc., with a total seed production of 800 Mu and a yield of 20 tons. In 1993, 64 Taihu sows were introduced. In 1998, Jianli, Megalobrama amblycephala, yunban and other famous fish fry were introduced and raised in paddy fields for more than 60 mu, with a yield of 125 kg per mu. In 2000, 160 mu of Taiwan honey pear was introduced. In 2002, Yufang township was listed in the construction of ecological agriculture "demonstration township" by the provincial government. In 2005, the total agricultural output value of the township was 37.22 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 3840 yuan. Grain crops and cash crops were planted in 20990 Mu and 10220 Mu respectively, and the planting area decreased by 34% and 2% respectively compared with 1991. The total grain output is 7920 tons, 377 kg per mu, and 4280 mu of tobacco is planted, The output of tobacco is 449 tons; the output of orchard is 7120 mu, and the output of fruit is 3408 tons, including 3840 mu of Huanghua pear, 2143 tons, 1750 mu of citrus, 665 tons; the output of fresh edible fungi is 202 tons, and the output of dry edible fungi is 460 tons; the total output of vegetables, melons and fruits is 4024 tons; the output of fish, shrimp, crab and shellfish is 634 tons; there are 198 cattle, 1230 sheep, 3200 pigs, and 20200 poultry.
economic development
There are gold, quartz, potash feldspar, mica and other minerals in Yufang township. There are 18100 mu of cultivated land, including 17600 mu of paddy field. There are 178400 mu of forest land, including 146700 mu of forest land, with a forest coverage rate of 70.3%. The forest stock is 398900 cubic meters, and the bamboo stock is 2546700. The timber stock of zhoucuo, Zhangdu, Masi and other villages is more than 100000 cubic meters, In 2004, the total output value of township enterprises was 122.54 million yuan, the grain area was 23568 mu, the tobacco leaf area was 4186 mu, 10483.9 tons of tobacco leaf were purchased, the income of tobacco farmers was 5646432.57 yuan, and 3 million bags of edible fungi were planted. 137000 mu of collective forest property rights were restructured.
2007
The total output value of agriculture in the township was 78.5 million yuan, an increase of 13.4%; the total output value of township enterprises was 67.8 million yuan, an increase of 13.2%; the investment in fixed assets was 6.5 million yuan, an increase of 12.1%; the general budget income of township finance was 1.538 million yuan; the per capita net income of farmers was 4780 yuan, an increase of 5.8%; the natural growth rate of population was controlled within 5.5 ‰.
The annual grain planting area reached 17000 mu, the yield reached more than 5780 tons, and the production of Huayou 63, D qibaoyou 527 and other high-quality rice reached more than 7800 Mu and 3500 tons. (2) consolidate the seed production base. It has produced 200000 Jin of improved varieties, earning more than 1.8 million yuan of foreign exchange for farmers. In the whole year, we actively cultivated 50000 mu of fast-growing and high-yield forest, and produced 15000 cubic meters of commercial timber annually; we scientifically cultivated 31000 mu of bamboo production base, with an annual output of 5000 tons of bamboo shoots and more than 500000 moso bamboo. We should strengthen the construction of high-quality moso bamboo demonstration films and improve the scientific and technological content of Moso bamboo production. We will focus on a 513 Mu science and technology demonstration plot in the township, a 746 Mu demonstration plot in the key village, and a 384 Mu demonstration plot in the general village, and complete 1340 mu of bamboo label and 2000 mu of low-grade bamboo forest.
Nearly 3 million yuan has been invested in 2007. The exploration of Yuyuan gold mine and Longxing copper mine has been intensified, and more than 1.5 million yuan has been invested in Longxing copper mine. Standardize the mining of potassium feldspar and quartzite in zhulingtou, GUAXI and Meixi to maintain the sustainable utilization of resources.
2011
The total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 159.1 million yuan, an increase of 45.3% over 2006; the investment in fixed assets was 33.5 million yuan, an increase of 319%; the fiscal revenue was 1.56 million yuan, an increase of 20%; the per capita net income of farmers was 7260 yuan, an increase of 89.1%.
The industrial economy has been effectively improved. Actively promote high-yield, high-quality and efficient agricultural planting mode, consolidate Wandan tobacco planting base, establish 1000 mu seed breeding base, continue to promote the development of bamboo industry, establish Yuanmin vegetable and edible fungi professional cooperatives, develop cultivation of rare edible fungi such as Agaricus blazei, Agaricus blazei and Dictyophora indusiana, and broaden farmers' income increasing channels. Focus on the industrial economy, implement the project driven strategy, improve the production efficiency of Xinhua Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. and Yingrui paper products factory, and introduce Xinyuan Bamboo Carbon Co., Ltd. with a total investment of 40 million yuan. At present, the bamboo products production line of the first phase of the project has been officially put into operation.
